Everything that happens to us has a reason. And every now and then, one thing leads to another. Instead of locking yourself up in your cage of fears and weeping over past heartaches, embarrassment and failures, treat them as your teachers and they will become your tools to empower you for your self improvement and success.<\/p>\n
An empowered person achieves so much greatness because by self-empowerment you are making a broad revamp in your life and turning yourself into a more contented and more successful person.<\/p>\n
One way to achieve success is knowing who you are and becoming the best of you to empower yourself in order to boost your performance. But the question often asked is how to be the best of myself in order to empower myself. The answer is divided in to seven steps.<\/p>\n
Know your purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n Are you drifting through life with little direction \u2013 hoping that you will discover contentment, health and wealth? Determine your life purpose or mission statement and you will have your own distinctive compass that will guide you to your truth north all the time.<\/p>\n Know your values<\/strong><\/p>\n What do you value most? Make a list of your top three values. Check your goals against your values. If the goal doesn\u2019t align with any of your top three values get rid of it.<\/p>\n Know your needs<\/strong><\/p>\n Unmet needs will stop you from living authentically. Take care of yourself. List your top five needs and get them met before it\u2019s too late!<\/p>\n Know your passions<\/strong><\/p>\n You know who you are and what you truthfully like in life. Express yourself and honor the people who have inspired you to become the very person you wanted to be. When you are really passionate about something, it will happen even faster than you think.<\/p>\n Live from the inside out<\/strong><\/p>\n Communicate with nature. Breathe deeply to quiet your distracted mind. Learn to listen to what your heart is saying. Doctor John Demartini said \u201cWhen the voice & the \u202avision on the inside is more profound & more clear than all opinions on the outside, you\u2019ve begun to master your life\u201d<\/p>\n Honor your strengths<\/strong><\/p>\n What are your positive traits? Find ways to express your authentic self through your strengths. You can increase your self-confidence when you willingly share what you know with others.<\/p>\n Serve others<\/strong><\/p>\n When you live authentically, you will find out that you develop an interconnected sense of being. When you are true to who you are, living your purpose and giving of your talents to the world around you, you give back in service what you came to share with others -your spirit \u2013 your essence. The rewards for sharing your gift with those close to you are indeed pleasing, much more if it were to be the eyes of a stranger who can appreciate what you have done to them.
