Dramatic, But True."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is a bit of a rant\u2026 Take a minute, read it and let it sink in.<\/p>\n<p>If you get the message half way, awesome \u2014 but read the whole thing. \u00a0I\u2019ve been thinking a lot lately about WHAT it is that we do all day.<\/p>\n<p>The reason we do something \u201con the side\u201d is different for all of us. \u00a0But regardless of our \u201cwhy\u201d, shouldn\u2019t it be fun??<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t know about you, but it seems like I\u2019ve been going steady for weeks now.<\/p>\n<p>But in a good way.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve been creating content, doing some article marketing, getting good traffic to my blog, getting leads\u00a0(well someone else has actually been doing a lot of it..but I get the results\u2026)<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s easy to get BUSY.<\/p>\n<h2>But what\u2019s the point of being busy, if you aren\u2019t making any cashola, or absolutely LOVING what you\u2019re busy about?<\/h2>\n<p>Do you ever get like that?<\/p>\n<p>Like you can\u2019t stop?<\/p>\n<p>Like you want to stop and breathe but are afraid that you\u2019ll \u201cmiss out\u201d on a lead?<\/p>\n<p>Like your whole business depends on you keeping busy?<\/p>\n<h2><span>YOU\u2019RE NOT ALONE<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>I\u00a0<span>used to<\/span>\u00a0spend HOURS doing things I thought would get me RICH, but all they did was MAKE\u00a0ME\u00a0<strong>CRAZY and ALONE!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s a list of things I\u2019ve done\u2026. guess how many I love?<\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>designing my blog<\/li>\n<li>reconfiguring my opt in box<\/li>\n<li>writing articles (poorly);<\/li>\n<li>entering them into larger article directories<\/li>\n<li>spinning them (poorly)<\/li>\n<li>writing blog posts<\/li>\n<li>making videos<\/li>\n<li>trying to chat up people on facebook (creepy)<\/li>\n<li>trying to get people interested in ME<\/li>\n<li>trying to weasel my way into a conversation about my opportunity<\/li>\n<li>posting ads on craigslist<\/li>\n<li>picking business cards off of posting boards at the grocery store<\/li>\n<li>calling real estate agents<\/li>\n<li>calling insurance agents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>oh and my favourite\u2026.. inviting people to hotel meetings <span>that I don\u2019t even like<\/span>, pleading for them to come, but really hoping they don\u2019t!!<\/div>\n<h2>AAAAAAHHHHHHHH<\/h2>\n<p>Enough already!!<\/p>\n<p>Do you see anything familiar?<\/p>\n<p>Have you done this?<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s ok. \u00a0Calm down. \u00a0easy\u2026 \u00a0It gets better. \u00a0Just invite someone to a hotel meeting <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/empowernetwork.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/16\/2011\/11\/icon_smile-1.gif\" alt=\":)\" class=\"wp-smiley\"\/> <\/p>\n<p>OK I\u2019m kidding.<\/p>\n<p>Now do you want to know what\u2019s actually working?<\/p>\n<p>ALL OF IT.<\/p>\n<p>huh??<\/p>\n<p>Yes I said ALL OF IT. \u00a0But here\u2019s the catch.<\/p>\n<h3>I personally only do 1 thing.<\/h3>\n<p>I do what I enjoy. \u00a0I do what I get results from. \u00a0I do what energizes me.<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t spend time on things that people tell me to do, if I don\u2019t like doing it.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m a bit of a kid that way. \u00a0<span>If I don\u2019t like something, I won\u2019t do it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>But here\u2019s where it gets better.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>There are TONS of people that LOVE doing the things that I don\u2019t.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>For some reason, I love designing things. \u00a0It\u2019s something I like to do. \u00a0I like formatting a page, aligning borders, coloring things, cutting and pasting pictures\u2026 it\u2019s just something I really really like to do.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m a bit of a nerd. \u00a0But that\u2019s me.<\/p>\n<p>So that\u2019s what I do! \u00a0All day, all night. \u00a0At my \u201cj.o.b\u201d, I design, calculate, present, format, align, integrate\u2026 I\u2019m a\u00a0Thinker and a Doer.<\/p>\n<p>So what about all the other stuff? \u00a0<strong>FORGET ABOUT IT<\/strong>. \u00a0Someone else loves to do that.<\/p>\n<p>And I get THEM to do it FOR ME <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/empowernetwork.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/16\/2011\/11\/icon_smile-1.gif\" alt=\":)\" class=\"wp-smiley\"\/> <\/p>\n<p>Think about this\u2026. <strong><em>who am I, to stop someone from doing what they love?? \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The main thing that gets me leads right now, is article marketing, and getting opt-ins. \u00a0I did Rob Fore\u2019s training boot camp, and it was AWESOME.<\/p>\n<p>But I HATE writing. \u00a0ok I like writing a bit, but not enough to sit down every day, do keyword research, write 1-2 articles, get them submitted to Ezine, throw them into Article Marketing Robot, spin them, submit them, ping the links, blah blah blah\u2026<\/p>\n<p>It works though!! \u00a0So why not do it, but get someone else to!?<\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>When I need my clothes cleaned, I take them to the dry cleaner.<\/li>\n<li>When I need pizza made, I go to the pizza shop<\/li>\n<li>When I need coffee, I go to the coffee shop<\/li>\n<li>When I need a button fixed, I go to the tailor.<\/li>\n<li>When I need a speeding ticket, I get in my car (don\u2019t tell my wife)\u2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<div>Did you know that there are people around the world, that will do stuff for like 5 bucks? \u00a0I spend that on a coffee\u2026 Imagine what type of income you could generate if every time you bought a coffee at Starbucks, you could get a unique article written, properly spun, submitted in Ezinearticles and confirmed within 72 hours? \u00a0With links back to your site?? \u00a0It\u2019s crazy\u2026<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Is this at all relevant to you? \u00a0Of course it is!! \u00a0STOP wasting your time on things that you HATE doing\u2026<\/p>\n<p>If you HATE talking to people on the phone \u2014 STOP IT!! \u00a0Do you know I get around <span>1 phone call from <a href=\"https:\/\/empowernetwork.com\/about\/\">David Wood<\/a> every 3 weeks?<\/span> \u00a0hmmmm\u2026 It\u2019s not him live, but I\u2019m sure it works for him when people press 1 right? \u00a0It\u2019s called LEVERAGE. \u00a0Everyone uses it that is worth anything.<\/p>\n<p>If you HATE writing articles, STOP IT!! \u00a0Leverage.<\/p>\n<p>If you HATE chatting up\u00a0<strong>random creepy people on facebook<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 STOP IT!!
