Blue Lagoon Beach, Mauritius<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

Of volcanic origin and generally sheltered by barriers of coral reefs forming natural, safe, crystal clear lagoons, Mauritius has long been a dream destination. Known to the Arabs as early as the 10th century, but officially \u00abdiscovered\u00bb in 1505 by the Portuguese navigator Pedro Mascarenhas, the island was occupied successively by the Dutch (1598-1712) and the French (1715-1810), and was ceded to Great Britain in 1814 through the Treaty of Paris. On 12 March 1968, Mauritius became Independent. Republic Day was proclaimed on 12 March 1992.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Binningup Beach is the name of a small beachfront settlement in the centre of a 22 km long beach that starts at The Cut at the mouth of the Leschenault Estuary and trends essentially due north to the small mouth of the Harvey River diversion drain, just below Myalup. The straight beach receives waves averaging about 1 m for most of its length, which maintain a steep reflective beach. The entire beach is backed by moderately active 20-30 m high transgressive dunes, including blowouts and parabolics, extending up to 1 km inland, with vegetated dunes up to 1.5 km wide.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Church Bay Beach, Southampton, Bermuda<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

For\u00a0snorkelers\u00a0around the world, Bermuda is one of the best destinations. For the locals, Church Bay Beach, in the parish of Southampton, is the best place in Bermuda according to many!<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The main reason is that here, the reefs are very close to the shore, sometimes as close as 50 meters.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It is a rocky area as much on the beach than in the sea where stands a rock locally known as the Poodle Rock. Overall, there are amazing cup reefs and boiler reefs to be found in the waters of Church Bay Beach but it isn\u2019t a place for the\u00a0coral reefs of Bermuda.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The general area is known for its\u00a0coral reefs,\u00a0black-and-white colobus monkeys, and for the closely located\u00a0Shimba Hills National Reserve, a\u00a0wildlife reserve\u00a0which looks out over the Indian Ocean.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Clifton Beach<\/span>\u00a0is a town located approximately 25\u00a0km southeast of Hobart on the\u00a0South Arm\u00a0Peninsula on the outskirts of\u00a0Hobart,\u00a0Tasmania,\u00a0Australia.
