Not regular girl shopping.\u00a0 I would take a ride up to Idaho Springs and find that neat shop we visited on our first trip out here and pick up a fossil rock to use as a door stop.\u00a0 Or I\u2019d find the store that made my Aspen end tables and find a handmade lamp of wood, antler or stone that would fit nicely in an RV.\u00a0 I can loose myself for hours in a bookstore or a garden center.\u00a0 Or I could find a place to go riding.\u00a0 There are a few here in the Denver area.\u00a0 In fact the other day when I was online looking for RV parks I found one with a stable that rents out horses right next door.<\/p>\n
I don\u2019t mind cleaning if it\u2019s kept up with.\u00a0 But I\u2019d rather be out cleaning the barn then inside cleaning the house.\u00a0 That said, I\u2019d rather be out on the trails with a good horse a good friend and the danes then cleaning the barn.\u00a0 One of the nice things about having money is that you can pay someone else to do things when you just don\u2019t feel like doing it yourself.\u00a0 There is lots of barn cleaning, cooking, picking up the houseing and gardening in my future.\u00a0 But there are also live in housekeepers, cooks, gardeners and livestock keepers. If I don\u2019t feel like doing it today, it still has to get done.\u00a0 And when I travel I want to leave my animals at home with people who know them and love them.<\/p>\n
I wish I could take a picture of what\u2019s in my brain.\u00a0 I\u2019d show you my house, my gardens and barns, the breath taking land that surrounds me.\u00a0 I\u2019d show you my horses, my cows, the chickens as they peck around the yard.\u00a0 Not to mention all the other critters that call my place home.\u00a0 Have I told you of my mad passion for critters of all kinds? I\u2019d take you out to the gardens and show you whats for supper while it\u2019s still warm on the vine.\u00a0 And of course you\u2019ll want to see the flowers.\u00a0 The flowers are simply grand.<\/p>\n
I\u2019d take you out on the land and show you where the Elk migrate.\u00a0 I\u2019d show you where all my wild friends live.\u00a0 If I could take pictures of what\u2019s in my brain, you\u2019d fall in love with my place to.\u00a0 You\u2019d understand why I\u2019m driven to bring her out of my mind and into reality.\u00a0 Some things just can\u2019t be left undone.<\/p>\n
I can\u2019t take pictures of whats in my mind, so you\u2019ll just have to take my word for the fact that my ranch is one of the most magical places on earth.\u00a0 When she\u2019s done, you\u2019ll just have to find your way there and experience the magic.\u00a0 My doors are always open.\u00a0 In the meantime, you\u2019ll get to be a fly on the wall here on my blog as the adventure unfolds.<\/p>\n
Step one is replacing the jobs.\u00a0 We\u2019re well on our way here.\u00a0 Step two is getting on the road.\u00a0 I\u2019ll have to get my Tom to show me how to post photo\u2019s here.\u00a0 That way you can see where in the world we are as I make my daily entry\u2019s.\u00a0 Step three is finding the community that feels like home and four is locating Broken Arrows herself.\u00a0 The money to build her will be coming in all along the way so step five is simply finding the people who are waiting to help me build.<\/p>\n
In the meantime, Issac is moping the kitchen floor, the vacuums have gone silent and I don\u2019t hear any cleaning sounds coming from anywhere. It\u2019s probably safe to venture out into the rest of the house.\u00a0 The place stinks to high heaven.\u00a0 I hate the smell of standard toxic cleaning supplies.\u00a0 Don\u2019t have them in my house.\u00a0 You\u2019d think my kids would know better.\u00a0 After all I raised them.\u00a0 But that is a rant for another day.\u00a0 If you stick around here long enough I\u2019m sure you\u2019ll hear it more then once.\u00a0 Hopefully you\u2019ll understand what you hear and let go of the things that are killing you.<\/p>\n
