I have been enjoying some time off with my family.\u00a0 It was a long week and we just needed sometime together this weekend. \u00a0It was amazing to watch my children\u2019s eyes light up this weekend just doing simple quiet things together this weekend.\u00a0 It never amazes me the lesson that my children will teach me when I stop and take a moment with them.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Sometimes just the simplest of things can make your day.\u00a0 I know that a lot of marketers are getting frustrated online because of something that happened in their business that day.\u00a0 I have learned this lesson from my children that sometimes you just have to let stuff go.\u00a0 I mean you can watch them fight with each other and in two seconds later it meant nothing and they are hugging and playing again.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
It is being able to become emotionally detached from things going on that really does not change the facts.\u00a0 The facts for them is that they are siblings and because they have to live with each other at the end of the day.\u00a0 There really is not time to hold a grudge.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
There is not time to be emotionally attached in your business either.\u00a0 If you become emotionally attached to the outcome then you cannot step back and make decisions based on what your business needs and not what emotions are involved.\u00a0 You have to be able to unplug your emotions when it comes to business.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
So what does this mean?\u00a0 It means you cannot be worried if you are paying for advertising and it does not get results for a while.\u00a0 You cannot be tied up in the fact that so and so said they were going to sign up under you and they have not yet.\u00a0 Or they chose someone else.\u00a0 If you did that one you would not be focus on the things that are going to make you successful.\u00a0 And two you really do not want to put yourself through that much stress; it detracts you from what you should be doing.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
It was also something I heard from Mike Hobbs one of the industry leaders last week.\u00a0 You just cannot get emotionally attached to the outcome.\u00a0 It just does not work.\u00a0 If you do you will lose, but if you set it and let it do its thing whether it works or not the outcome will be positive.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
No matter what you think learning to make decisions not based on emotion where you business is concerned will help you tremendously.\u00a0 This does not mean lose passion or compassion for others.\u00a0 It just means to not get so tied up in the outcomes.\u00a0 Stop watching your email inbox and refreshing 10 in an hour and stop thinking if only this will \u2026.\u00a0 You can fill in the blanks.<\/p>\n
