If you\u2019ve been working a business of your own for any amount of time, you might be wondering what it really takes to make it work.<\/h2>\n

Chances are, you aren\u2019t one of those rare gems that gets started in a business and immediately has success selling everything and anything you offer to people. The truth is that most people do not see immediate success with their business. Most, if they are honest, have worked hard and for quite some time before they achieved success.<\/p>\n

So what does it really take to achieve Business Success?<\/strong><\/p>\n

There will be an investment of money:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t kid yourself. Do you know of any business owner, brick and mortar, franchisee or otherwise that did not invest in their business by putting some money into it? The key here is to work at making an investment that is going to have a maximum return for you.<\/p>\n

There will be an investment of Time:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Just as there is an investment of Money in your business, there will be an investment of time.\u00a0 This is especially true when you first get started.\u00a0 You can be involved in a business like Empower Network<\/a> where everything is set up for you and all you have to do is plug in and get started, but if you are launching a franchise or brick and mortar business, plan on being busy. Honestly, even with a total online business, you are still going to have to put in some time.<\/p>\n

In my humble opinion, gone are the days when just having a website is going to get you business. In today\u2019s marketing, you need to have a website, a blog, and a presence on Social Media Platforms like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest and a few others. You need to be where the people are and you need to use marketing tactics that search engines like Google prefer. It is also very helpful to know the powerful tactics used by those actually making the money.<\/p>\n

You have to market your business- Free and Paid:<\/strong><\/p>\n

This basically ties in to the topic above.\u00a0 Having a website is not enough, you have to market it and you can do that through free or paid advertising. Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube allow you to connect with people for free but platforms like Facebook also have paid advertising as well.\u00a0 Either way, you need to market your business in one way or another. (preferably both)<\/p>\n
