My Perfect Day In Kauai<\/strong>
\n<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n

I have been doing an exercise called \u201cmy perfect day\u201d.<\/p>\n

Each night before bed, I take some time to describe in writing my perfect day.<\/p>\n

For me that day begins in my beach house in Kauai. \u00a0The more I do this exercise the more vivid I see the things in my day.<\/p>\n

The sliced fruit I have for breakfast, the sounds I hear when my eyes open, the type of floor I step on to when getting out of bed. \u00a0I see my kitchen, the views from each of my bay windows, the horses I adore as I make my mountain hike for the day.<\/p>\n

This has become so vivid in my life, I\u2019ve started planning my eventual move to Kauai.<\/p>\n

In this post I wanted to share some videos I found in an effort to share the experience of Kauai with you. \u00a0I used to vacation here every year so I\u2019m somewhat familiar with the island.<\/p>\n

I had the pleasure of visiting Queens Bath and swimming in the pools during a visit in 2004. In later years when I went to visit, the time of year was different as well as the tide so I wasn\u2019t able to visit again.<\/p>\n

The Secrets of Kauai<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/p>\n

On my last visit to Kauai I went alone (left the kids at home) and went on a spiritual journey there. \u00a0I hired a tour guide that took me on a hike to a beautiful waterfall, showed me how they honor the wind, the trees, the earth in Kauai. She also asked me to pick flowers I liked along the path and made me a handmade lei from them.<\/p>\n

Also booked a horseback ride and no one but me showed up so I was alone that journey as well.<\/p>\n

Was an incredible, peaceful visit and experience.<\/p>\n

The spiritual and healing energy of Kauai<\/em><\/h2>\n

Much like Sedona, Kauai is known to be a place of great energy and said to have a vortex. \u00a0If you know about Sedona and her energy, this makes sense to you.<\/p>\n

All I know is that when I\u2019m in Kauai, I feel an incredible peace, love, and calm. I feel as if I\u2019m home \u00a0– a feeling I\u2019ve not experienced anywhere else \u00a0(yet).<\/p>\n
