I\u2019ve been going to raves<\/em> <\/strong>for about 5 years now. I go for the music because I love the music. But I ignore the drugs that are there, AND THEY\u2019RE THERE. The drugs there have gotten out of hand\u2026.<\/p>\n

\u2026.I was reading an article<\/strong> the other day about how 2 people that died from the drug \u201cMolly\u201d which is the purest form or\u00a0MDMA, or \u201cextasy\u201d at the Electric Zoo festival. I was shocked when I read it. SHOCKED<\/strong>. Because I never heard of anyone dying from it and plus I go to raves frequently. I mean you\u2019d really have to go overboard with these drugs to die. Mollys are basically raw MDMA<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and the effects are euphoria and happiness. Basically all your senses are altered. It doesn\u2019t last that long. I think one of the reasons why people O.D on them is because they DON\u2019T last long and these people take alot so they last\u2026.AND DON\u2019T Drink water<\/strong>!!<\/p>\n

TAKING THESE DRUGS is harmful\u2026.<\/strong>yeah you feel good but DAMN the risks are great\u2026.. People who use MDMA describe themselves as feeling open, accepting, unafraid and connected to people around them. They\u2019re usually taken in social settings, especially among the rave and dance club cultures, MDMA\u2019s effects are stimulated by visuals, sounds, smells and touch<\/strong>\u2026..basically meaning that you\u2019ll feel awesome.<\/p>\n

\u2026.And its very rare to overdose on this<\/em><\/strong>. But people abuse them. Other drugs like acid or can\u2019t be overdosed but with Mollys it heightens your body temperature because it increases your heart rate due to your heart working hard to pump blood into your body\u2026..<\/p>\n

\u2026..These drugs and the people taking them <\/b>have gotten out of control. As soon as it starts killing people (which I know that its the people that are irresponsible and are at fault, not the drugs) but once people start dying, something has to be done. There\u2019s people, me being one of them, that love going to\u00a0raves\u00a0<\/strong>just to enjoy the\u00a0music\u2026..<\/strong><\/em><\/a>\u2026\u2026.its the MUSIC\u00a0<\/strong>that brings us together, not the drugs\u2026.thats only about 5% of what makes raves. The environment, music, and energy is\u00a0WHY\u00a0<\/strong>I go and everyone else does too. For the past couple of years the electronic dance music scene (EDM) has been growing in popularity so more and more people go now. In all honesty about 7\/10 people are on\u00a0SOMETHING<\/strong>, it may not necessarily be \u201cExtasy\u201d but SOMETHING\u2026..since it goes back to when raves first started coming up people think they\u00a0HAVE\u00a0<\/strong>to be on something when you go to one of these things\u2026.

\u2026.NO, you don\u2019t.\u00a0<\/strong>People feel as though they can\u2019t have a good time at an event\u2026.doesn\u2019t have to be a rave but at parties as well\u2026\u2026people drink or smoke,\u00a0SOMETHING\u00a0<\/strong>that they think is going to help them have a good time. You DON\u2019T have to. It\u2019s not that hard to go to one of these events such as EDC, or Electric zoo or any event\u2026.just go and enjoy the damn music man! Isn\u2019t it simple??
