{"id":5,"date":"2014-04-27T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2014-04-27T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/empowernetwork.com\/easyliving\/the-10x-rule-book-review\/"},"modified":"2026-07-27T18:42:01","modified_gmt":"2026-07-27T18:42:01","slug":"the-10x-rule-book-review","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/empowernetwork.com\/easyliving\/the-10x-rule-book-review\/","title":{"rendered":"[The 10x Rule] Book Review"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"previewPostBlock imagePostBlock\">\n<div class=\"posRelative\">\n<ul class=\"postVideoSlider\">\n<li>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<table>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<div id=\"slides_counter\"><b><label id=\"imgIndex\">1<\/label><label> of <\/label><label id=\"imgCount\">1<\/label><\/b><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<td>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>In this book review of \u201c<strong>The 10x Rule<\/strong>\u201d by Grant Cardone I will be focusing on what the author describes as the <\/p>\n<div class=\"en-vault-video\"><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/On1QJC-YDV0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen loading=\"lazy\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Now I chose to focus on this because you can actually see by reading it where you fit and why you are where you are in life and business (if you have a business). \u00a0This book was also suggested reading from a mentor of mine that is doing very well in the <a href=\"https:\/\/empowernetwork.com\/courses\/team-building-formula\/\">network marketing<\/a> industry. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">I will be putting a few excerpts from the book in here and a way for you to go pick it up yourself.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL of these require effort in one way or another&#8230;<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\">The First degree of action:<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This is the Doing nothing. \u00a0These people have stopped learning and moving forwards towards and goal in any area of life. \u00a0Grant Cardone in no uncertain terms says that if you are here you have probably given up on your dreams and play the part of a victim.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\">The Second degree of action:<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">FROM THE BOOK [\u201cRetreaters\u201d are those who take actions in reverse\u2014probably in order to avoid negative experiences that they imagine will come as a result of taking action. The retreater personifies the \u201cfear-of-success\u201d phenomenon.] \u00a0From this degree of action a person will give themselves excuses to retreat and give up instead of figuring out how to do something better or easier.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Here are some of the reasons we give ourselves for retreating from the book:<\/p>\n<ol dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>\u201cThe stock market sucks; I\u2019m never investing in it again\u201d\u2014retreat.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cMost marriages fail; I\u2019m staying single\u201d\u2014retreat.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cThe acting business is too tough; I\u2019ll just be a waiter for the rest of my life\u201d\u2014retreat.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cThe job market is terrible; no one is hiring\u2014I am filing for unemployment\u201d\u2014retreat.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\">The Third degree of action:<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">(To me this is the scariest one) \u00a0People who take a normal or mundane and average level of action. \u00a0These are most of the middle class in our society with normal and average everything. \u00a0They don\u2019t stand out or cause problems for others or themselves, they are predictable. \u00a0Until something rocks their world like losing a job that puts them at risk of losing their home, stock market crash that takes their savings for retirement, marriage falls apart\u2026..<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">I related most to this degree because this is where I was just a few short years ago when my husband lost his job. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Here the author asks a great question\u2026 Be honest with yourself:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Do you have more energy and creativity available than you\u2019re using?  <\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">How would you answer this one? \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\">The Fourth degree is Massive Action!<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Think of this like a kid with lots of energy and most kids left to their own devises are non stop unless they are sleeping!! \u00a0They are focused on the activity at hand to the point of not hearing you when you call them, even for dinner.
