Valentines day<\/strong> is just only several days away and I love to share my own ideas, crafts I\u2019ve been taught in the past or by my friends. A good friend of mine was telling me her plans for valentines day<\/em> and I was just so excited for her that I wanted to help those of you that are wanting to do some arts and crafts for valentines day<\/strong>.<\/p>\n So, here are some cool things you can do with your kids!<\/p>\n 1. Create valentines day<\/span> cards:\u00a0 Kids love to do stamps!\u00a0 So, I actually did this myself and with my best friend\u2019s two little girls. It was a lot of fun for them and for me.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s a picture of the adorable little girls!<\/p>\n So what you need to do is find stamps that are for valentines day<\/span>!\u00a0 My mom actually got these stamps that are shown on the picture below.<\/p>\n I believe she said she only could find them at a dollar store!\u00a0 The thing is we don\u2019t have any arts and crafts store near here so it might be different for you especially if you live in the city!<\/p>\n Once you do that you need to get the red stamp ink(or any color you like)!\u00a0 For us it was included so I didn\u2019t have to find any but again all you need to do is go to your arts & crafts store near you!<\/p>\n Then you need to get some kind of paper to create your valentines day<\/em> cards. Construction paper will be fine!<\/p>\n Once you get the paper and cut it the way you want it\u2026you can do different shapes for example a heart and then you put the stamps on and you can use different colors of ink. I would not use red ink on red paper!<\/p>\n After you\u2019ve done what you want with the stamps you can add something extra by writing something to whoever you are creating the valentines day<\/strong> card for! Then if you want you can get some pretty glitter and some glue or glue stick and make the card really pretty.<\/p>\n After that your done and this is something that is really fun and the girls that I did this with had a blast doing this.<\/p>\n 2. Bake:<\/p>\n You can make cookies and use valentines day cookie cutouts!<\/p>\n You can get a cake pan designed as a heart and make a cake in a shape of a heart. One other way is to make cupcakes and decorate them with little hearts (these are just a couple of ways there is many ways)<\/p>\n It\u2019s a lot of fun to decorate your baked goods with edible yumminess! <\/p>\n 3. Valentines day<\/em> story: This is another great way for the kids to actually get creative! What you do is you start the story out and then ask them what should happen next but you want the story to be something to do with valentines day<\/strong> (for example about a daughter that got lost and found her way home to give her mother her valentines day card because she really missed her).<\/p>\n First just write it down as you are discussing the story so that they can write it if they are old enough or they can get a crayon or marker and create pictures if they are younger.
