Think for a moment what happens if you don\u2019t work on finding someone\u2019s need.Watch this cool video!<\/p>\n<p>You may start talking to someone who you think would be GREAT in your business.\u00a0 They seem smart, highly motivated\u2026and you want to tell them more about your company.\u00a0 You start telling them how GREAT it is to be able to earn extra money so they can spend more time with their kids and go on some WONDERFUL family vacations!!\u00a0 And you\u2019re super duper confident that this opportunity can do that for them!!!<\/p>\n<p>However\u2026\u2026your \u201cprospect\u201d seems to be giving you a blank stare.\u00a0 You stop to ask if that sounds like something that would be great for them.\u00a0 And they tell you that they are single.\u00a0 And they don\u2019t like to travel.\u00a0 As you\u2019ve been talking, you have been building a block in their mind that this company and this opportunity are not for them.<\/p>\n<p>It still could be, IF you are able to find what THEIR need was, and talk to them in their language.\u00a0 Show how your company can fit that need that is so important to THEM.\u00a0 You see, not everyone has the same need.\u00a0 It would be great if everyone wore their need on their sleeve and it was visibly plain as day\u2026but it\u2019s not.\u00a0 You have to do a little digging. More importantly, you have to do a LOT of listening.<\/p>\n<p>Basically, most people\u2019s \u201cneed\u201d is based on one of four areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>F \u2013 Family<\/strong>\u00a0 \u2013 They want to spend more quality time with their family.\u00a0 Maybe a woman wants to be an at home mom instead of working outside of the home.\u00a0 Maybe a man wants to make enough to allow his wife to be able to do that.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>O- Occupation<\/strong> \u2013 They want an occupation that is fulfilling.\u00a0 Maybe they want to be in a different line of work.\u00a0 Maybe they want a less dangerous job.\u00a0 Maybe they want something that gives back to people.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>R \u2013 Recreation<\/strong> \u2013 Recreation often involves a different lifestyle.\u00a0 They want a vacation, a motor home or snowmobiles.\u00a0 Maybe it\u2019s just the ability to travel when and where they want.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>M- Money<\/strong> \u2013 They want money to be able to do the things that they can\u2019t do now.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So how do you find out what their \u201chot buttons\u201d are?\u00a0 Ask some very simple questions or make some simple statements\u2026and see what their answers are.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou must love your job!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou must go on some great vacations!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI bet you make GREAT money at your job!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo you have any fun plans for vacations this summer?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat brought you to your current job?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Make sure to phrase your statements in a positive way.\u00a0 People will be more honest with you this way.\u00a0 Now pay CLOSE attention to what they say.\u00a0 If their answers are negative (as in \u201care you kidding, I HATE MY JOB!\u201d) ask another question\u2026\u201dSo if you could do one thing differently, what would it be?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And THERE will be your magic answer!!\u00a0 That will be the need\u2026whether it\u2019s \u201cspend more time with my kids\u201d \u201chave a great vacation\u201d \u201cmake more money\u201d.\u00a0 THAT is what you zero in on as you work on how your business can meet their needs.<\/p>\n<p>Now you can talk to them in their language.\u00a0 Your opportunity talk can focus on the family, occupation, recreation or money needs that your company can meet.\u00a0 Laser focus on the need that they sound most passionate about.\u00a0 When you work on finding someone\u2019s need, and show them how you and your company can meet it, your prospect will be MUCH more likely to listen!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How To Find Someone\u2019s Need For Your Business When you are looking to find a new recruit, the best way to connect with someone is to find their \u201cneed\u201d.
