Challenges vs. Change<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

Have you ever stopped to consider the distinction between Challenge(s) vs. Change<\/b><\/span>? Let\u2019s first begin by appreciating that there are in fact some distinctions among each of these depending on how they are being used.<\/p>\n

For example, beginning with challenges<\/span> its meaning will be based on whether it is being used as a noun, such as he has accepted the challenge <\/i>or perhaps in reference to a task or situation that tests someone\u2019s abilities. The duration of this trip is a challenge even for experienced drivers<\/i>.<\/p>\n

As a verb a challenge<\/span> might be a dare, such as I challenged them to make up their own minds<\/i> or he needed something both to challenge his skills and to regain his abilities. <\/i><\/p>\n

So it is with change<\/span> as well. I need to experience a change<\/i> or this change is one of the best I have ever experienced<\/i>, are examples of change as a noun.<\/p>\n

Like a challenge<\/span> a change<\/span> can also be used as a verb; e.g. to become different, Overnight my mood changed<\/i> or to pass gradually into something, summer changed to autumn<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Challenges vs. Change<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m bringing these up, because I sincerely believe these are two of the most vital and important terms in our lives, and unfortunately all too often we ignore or fail to employ them properly. For example think of this for just a moment. Change<\/i><\/span> is the essence or heart of life. In the course of a single day, we experience 2,880 changes just in the element of time. That\u2019s simply 60 second times 60 minutes times 24 hours in the course of a day. I\u2019ve just described change<\/i><\/span> as a noun.<\/p>\n

However associated with and essential to life, is the realities that within the course of each of those seconds, virtually every element within the biological components of our bodies are going through significant changes. That is change<\/i> <\/span>as a verb.<\/p>\n

Okay so then what about challenges<\/i><\/span>, you may be thinking? Like change they are essential to life, for they provide us with opportunities to expand and appreciate life even more.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately all too often, a good many of us turn our backs on challenges<\/i><\/span> by simply ignoring them. I believe what is most important to appreciate here is that the value of the first, Challenges<\/i><\/span>, is dependent upon the second or the Chances<\/i><\/span>, we elect to respond with.<\/p>\n

Challenges vs. Change<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n

So who is the recipient of this value I just mentioned? Many more than you might believe or understand. I just found something I believe is exactly where I am going with this. Stop for just a moment and think about all the relationships you have, within family, within communities, within business or your work, or quite possibly someone you have never known but shows up today at a conference or meeting you are attending. Challenges vs. Change<\/span> <\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span>can be of critical value to each and every one of those relationships.<\/p>\n

What I just learned is that \u201cOut of allied effort comes greater power.\u201d When you share and open the hearts and minds of others, without criticism, or derogatory thoughts, you can enhance the value of the solutions you are seeking. Another example of Challenges vs. Change<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/span> at work.<\/p>\n
