Desire vs. Wishing<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Ever think about the distinction between these two approaches to determining what you want from life? As we progress through this, only you can apply what we are talking about, since your focus, not ours is what this is in reference to.<\/p>\n

How you decide on what and why you choose to focus on, depends to a large degree on how you see life. The distinctions between Desire vs. Wishing<\/b><\/span> hinge on something almost everyone of us were taught as children. A lot of us were taught that if we tossed pennies into a fountain, and hoped that our wish would come true; it would. We were frequently told to close our eyes, and think really hard when you are making our wish. I always remember being told, \u201cBe careful of what you wish for!\u201d<\/p>\n

When we blew out the candles on our birthday cake, we were told to make a special wish, and not tell anyone or the wish will not come true. Wishing at this time in life overshadowed our Desires<\/span>. Even to this day, as parents and grandparents a good many of us believe in and share the benefits of Wishing by taking them to Walt Disney\u2019s Magic Kingdom in Florida.<\/p>\n

For decades, Cinderella\u2019s Wishing Well at Magic Kingdom has been the launching pad for millions of wishes. For more than 30 years, Walt Disney World has donated the money from the wishing wells, fountains and water-based attractions to children\u2019s charities. This year, Cast Members at Walt Disney World Resort voted for the Foundation for Foster Children to receive the donation.<\/p>\n

Desire vs. Wishing<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

However we certainly cannot ignore the purpose and proper applications of Desire<\/i><\/span>. A Desire<\/i><\/span> is a want or longing for something. Amazingly enough when you look up the meaning of this word you will find that it has fifty (50) or more synonyms.<\/p>\n

What is a synonym? A synonym is a word or expression that is used as another name for something in some styles of speaking or writing or to emphasize a specific aspect or association. We cannot overlook antonyms either. What is an antonym? A word that means the opposite of another word. For example in this case these would be antonyms for Desire<\/i><\/span>; disgust, dislike, distaste. In the process of doing my research, I learned that there were only seven (7) words that filled that category.<\/p>\n

That in itself, I believe should tell us something about the relevancy of our desire to learn more about our true potential. While the synonyms outnumber the antonyms by 7 to 1, you must keep in mind that millions of people are seeking ways and means to understand their options. Desire vs. Wishing<\/i><\/b><\/span> are each subject to lots of attention, and I am bringing this to your attention primarily so that you can understand the distinctions between each of them.<\/p>\n

Consider your Desire vs. Wishing<\/span><\/b><\/span> as a thought process offering you options which are both appropriate given the circumstances and outcome you are pursuing. When in pursuit of your real purpose and Desire<\/span> in life focus on the attraction, fascination, love, and passion, you associate with them. These will also play a significant role in your DETERMINATION and thus future outcome.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t give up on Wishing either for, especially others, may very well depend upon you to help them enjoy more life, as a result of their tossing pennies into a fountain. With that said I wish you well, and may you enjoy Desire vs. Wishing<\/span><\/b><\/span> today and everyday for the rest of your life.<\/p>\n
