{"id":120,"date":"2013-06-15T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2013-06-15T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/empowernetwork.com\/demetrious\/?p=120"},"modified":"2026-08-01T03:01:54","modified_gmt":"2026-08-01T03:01:54","slug":"learn-something-about-hgh-the-bodys-natural-growth-stimulating-hormone","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/empowernetwork.com\/demetrious\/learn-something-about-hgh-the-bodys-natural-growth-stimulating-hormone\/","title":{"rendered":"Learn Something About HGH, the Body\u2019s Natural Growth Stimulating Hormone"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>What is HGH?<\/h2>\n<p>HGH stands for \u201cHuman Growth Hormone\u201d. \u00a0It can also be referred to as Somatotropin. \u00a0Somatotropin is secreted by Somatotropin cells that reside within the pituitary gland.<br \/>\nAnd the job of HGH or Somatotropin is exactly what the name suggests, it is a growth stimulating hormone.<\/p>\n<p>It helps with things such as reconstructing and creating new tissue, muscle growth, cartilage growth, stimulating bones, and a matter of other things.<\/p>\n<h2><span><em><strong>Natural HGH<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>What has me so interested in this topic is that I recently discovered a way to help my body receive more natural HGH, and I wanted to share it with you. \u00a0Everyone produces HGH, from their pituitary gland, however the amount tends to slow down as you get older.<\/p>\n<p>The amount of HGH released is much higher as a young child and during puberty. \u00a0In turn when it comes to working out you want to be able to receive as much HGH as possible. \u00a0You want you\u2019re body to grow and to display the results of your hard work.<\/p>\n<p>The great thing about working out is that any form of resistance training, such as lifting weights, body weight training, or even sprinting, causes your pituitary gland to release more HGH. \u00a0And the recent fact I learned is in order to ensure that you\u2019re body soaks up as much HGH from the workout as possible, you shouldn\u2019t eat anything for at least an hour.<\/p>\n<p>My source is a video by these two guys taking a sports nutrition course. \u00a0Check it out.<\/p>\n<h3>Disproving the Myth<\/h3>\n<p>When lifting weights and stuff I was always told to drink a protein shake, or consume something to replenish the carbs I lost, no later than 45 minutes after the workout. \u00a0However this concept about waiting an hour to eat anything conflicts with the prior statement. \u00a0In turn which one do you do?<\/p>\n<h2><span><em><strong>Eat right after, or wait an hour?<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Well my answer would be it depends on what you want. \u00a0Personally, I know right after my workout I feel tired, however I also feel like I don\u2019t need to eat anything. \u00a0And I believe that is because of the HGH being released. \u00a0In turn, if you\u2019re like me, then I would wait an hour and then eat a big meal to recover.<\/p>\n<p>However some people feel as\u00a0though they need to eat right after a workout to get protein back into their system. \u00a0If you feel that way then you may want to continue with your routine of drinking a shake right afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>Personally I just like to listen to my body. \u00a0If I feel like I need to eat, I\u2019ll do so, but typically I don\u2019t. \u00a0I recommend you do the same, if you feel like you need to eat then eat something, if you don\u2019t, then let your natural HGH go to work.<\/p>\n<p><span><em><strong>Growth Stimulating Hormone<\/strong><\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span><em><strong>Growth Stimulating Hormone<\/strong><\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span><em><strong>Growth Stimulating Hormone<\/strong><\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span><em><strong>Growth Stimulating Hormone<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<h2>&gt;&gt;&gt;CLICK HERE AND TYPE IN YOUR EMAIL FOR A FREE MARKETING VIDEO&lt;&lt;&lt;<\/h2>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is HGH?
