MailChimp Review<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is a range of Internet e-mail marketing tools on the market, some good, some great and some just a waste of time and money.<\/p>\n

When you are starting out, Internet marketing can be very confusing and trying to understand what is best for you and your business can often just become frustrating. One package will offer you so many subscribers and the other will offer you less per month but all you want is to get up and running.<\/p>\n

I am still relatively new to direct Internet marketing but would like to give you my honest opinion of why I chose MailChimp.<\/p>\n

Firstly I am a big fan of being able to access my files and documents anywhere, at anytime and through a variety of technology platforms. With this in mind I use many of the tools offered by Google to help with my productivity; docs, calendar, Gmail, Google +, etc. I can access these through my mobile phone, my laptop or any Internet ready device. Recently I added Google Apps to the suite of tools that I utilise by Google and with this activation there were a range of new third party tools that are accessible via the google interface. One of these was MailChimp.<\/p>\n

I had been searching around for a tool to use as I expand my online business and build a list of contacts related to my Internet based businesses. I had looked at Aweber and GetResponse and had looked at trialling these before coming across MailChimp.<\/p>\n

To be honest I do not have a big marketing budget so the first thing that attracted me to MailChip was that is has a free option that allows you to build a list of up to 2,000 contacts and distribute up to 12,000 e-mails per month at no charge. For a novice in this area like myself this was perfect. I had built up a list of just over 200 contacts so I could send out daily e-mails with out exceeding the monthly limit. <\/p>\n

The system has a number of easy to use tools that allows you to import your existing contact list into your MailChimp database. It also helps you design email newsletters, share them on social networks, integrate with services you already use, and track your results. It\u2019s like your own personal publishing platform.<\/p>\n

As an Empower Network<\/a> blogger, MailChimp\u2019s RSS-to-email campaigns automatically send newsletters whenever I update my blog or any other RSS feed. This is a great way to keep my list informed of what I am doing and show them how easy it is to get the information distributed.<\/p>\n

One of the great features is that it tracks your e-mails, which ones bounced, who opened them, who did not, what articles were clicked on, and also gives your contacts an easy way to unsubscribe if they do not wish to receive the e-mails any more. MailChimp takes control of the tedious tasks and removes the e-mails from the list that to not succeed. It gives you a range of statistics and graphs that help you really understand the impact of your e-mail campaign even down to what country the e-mails were opened in, if you are building an international business.<\/p>\n

There are a range of other features that come standard with the free version of MailChimp. These include Facebook Intergration, Social Sharing, Merging Tags, Autoresponders, Groups, Testing tools, Co-Branding, form generation, and so much more.<\/p>\n

For the novice Internet marketer I would certainly recommend you put it on your list of tools to investigate \u2013 <\/p>\n
