What He Left Behind Is Wondtacular.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Zach Sobiech, at the age of 14, found out he had a rare form of terminal cancer. So he became a rock star, and millions of people got to see his music before he passed away on May 20, 2013. This is his beautiful story.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2>I choose to live now and make a difference\u2026<\/h2>\n<p>After seeing this story about Zach Sobiech,\u00a0I\u00a0once again\u00a0have a renewed <strong>strength to live now and make a difference.\u00a0 <\/strong>I want to live\u00a0like it is\u00a0the last moments of my life! Today, I realized again,\u00a0how comfortable I had become and\u00a0how much\u00a0I was taking my life for granted.\u00a0 Isn\u2019t it strange how we\u00a0fool\u00a0ourselves into believing that we have already\u00a0lived the best part of our life or that we will live forever?<\/p>\n<p><em>Live now and make a difference<\/em> was the example that Zach set for his life.\u00a0 He\u00a0lived every moment knowing he had only a few precious moments\u00a0left.<\/p>\n<h2>Live now and make a difference-not on my radar screen\u2026<\/h2>\n<p>When I saw this video, I couldn\u2019t help but remember back to my own encounter\u00a0with the\u00a0thoughts of death.<\/p>\n<p>It was in the winter of 2002, a normal day like most, with\u00a0one exception; I had to go for the results of the mammogram that had been done the previous week.\u00a0 Never imaging there would be any problems, in a brief instant, I was told I had breast cancer and an immediate mastectomy, chemo and radiation were in order.<\/p>\n<p>My life flashed before me and I begin to ask myself the hard questions.\u00a0 What was I leaving behind from the life I had lived?\u00a0 How had I made a difference in this world? What\u00a0kind of\u00a0legacy\u00a0would I be leaving for my family and others?<\/p>\n<h2>I had no reason to live now and make a difference\u2026<\/h2>\n<p>I would\u00a0like to say, I did as Zach Sobiech did, but I didn\u2019t.\u00a0 Instead, I drew inside myself and prepared for the worst.\u00a0 Feelings of fear and loneliness set in as\u00a0I went about life believing my purpose in this\u00a0life was over.<\/p>\n<p>By March of 2003, I had went through\u00a0the major surgery and had\u00a0begun the necessary\u00a0treatments and procedures that would make me well.\u00a0 By July 2003, I was considered cancer free and I was a survivor!\u00a0 Ten years next month!<\/p>\n<p>The word cancer changed\u00a0my whole life.\u00a0 Even when\u00a0I\u00a0was told my\u00a0diagnosis looked promising; my thoughts\u00a0would stray\u00a0to the unknown.\u00a0 Today I have\u00a0found peace.<\/p>\n<p>It has taken\u00a0time, but\u00a0I know\u00a0when I trust in God, believe on His promises and\u00a0place my focus on others, I can once again <span>live now and make a difference<\/span>.\u00a0 I am here\u00a0to fulfill God\u2019s\u00a0purpose.
