It\u2019s being away from your family. No one likes it but, <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">how bad does it hurt<\/span>?<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Can you relate where your child was born and you were gone for the first year of your kids life? How does it affect the emotional bond between parent and child?<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>How about when you are away from your spouse multiple times. Sure <em>you think<\/em> the money is good but, how many more deployments will it be until it shakes up a marriage to the point it might snap?<\/p>\n<p>I hate that it happens but it does. Most likely a job right? Here is the thing, how much time are you going to spend working there? Your going to have to work 40 hours a day with <strong>no contract holding you to that job<\/strong>. You might get 2 weeks vacation and <em>some<\/em> holidays.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Do you deserve to spend as much time with your family as much as you want because you served the country? UH Yes YOU do!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>You deserve every moment you have with your family. You should not worry once you transition out if you would be laid off. You should feel secure knowing that you are doing something that gives you more time with your kids.
