{"id":1919,"date":"2012-07-31T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2012-07-31T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/empowernetwork.com\/clurra\/gano-excel-review\/"},"modified":"2026-08-05T02:17:20","modified_gmt":"2026-08-05T02:17:20","slug":"gano-excel-review","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/empowernetwork.com\/clurra\/gano-excel-review\/","title":{"rendered":"Gano Excel Review"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Gano Excel is one of the hotter <a href=\"https:\/\/empowernetwork.com\/blog\/category\/marketing\/\">MLM<\/a> companies of late and for good reason.\u00a0 They have a simple, highly consumable and affordable product line.\u00a0 This is a rare combination\u2026 perfect for <a href=\"https:\/\/empowernetwork.com\/courses\/team-building-formula\/\">network marketing<\/a>.\u00a0 Of course there is more to a company than its product; they must also have a legal and lucrative compensation plan.\u00a0 Let\u2019s take a closer look into all these areas.<\/p>\n<h3>Ganoderma, the power behind GanoCafe<\/h3>\n<p>The entire product line that Gano Excel offers is based around a species of red mushrooms called Ganoderma Lucidum, which is an herb having a long list of healthy attributes.\u00a0 These attributes have been heavily studied across the globe by institutions under a clinical environment so we are not talking about snake oil here.<\/p>\n<p>Gano has a very diverse product line spanning from supplements and beverages to personal care and household cleaners, but the flagship product that leads the company in sales and is most often<\/p>\n<p>reference by distributors is their line of health coffees called GanoCafe that contain the medicinal perks of Ganoderma.<\/p>\n<p>Coffee has several characteristics that make it a great product for network marketing.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>People already drink coffee \u2013 you don\u2019t need to convince people to use the product<\/li>\n<li>It is very unique in the marketplace \u2013 who knew coffee could be healthy?<\/li>\n<li>It is highly consumable \u2013 people who drink coffee do so daily<\/li>\n<li>It is addictive \u2013 people who take vitamins often forget to take them daily, but very few coffee drinkers I know forget to have their morning cup<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I really do love the idea of coffee as a network marketing product, but it is not without its own share of challenges. While it is a great concept to show people how to turn what is widely known to be an unhealthy habit into a healthy one, doing so means changing habits that a lot of people are rather attached to.<\/p>\n<p>I am a coffee drinker myself and I have to say that I\u2019m rather partial to my Panera hazelnut and Kaldi\u2019s highlander grog.\u00a0 I have not tried GanoCafe coffee (although I do plan on it), so I can\u2019t speak to the taste, but I know that people can be fickle so don\u2019t expect every coffee drinker to be an easy convert.<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t know much about the other products because not one of the Gano Excel distributors I know has ever mentioned them.\u00a0 I see the expanding product line around Ganoderma as an avenue to raise the average order and consumption of consumers who are initially sold on the coffee.<\/p>\n<p><ins><ins><\/ins><\/ins><\/p>\n<h3>Gano Excel compensation plan<\/h3>\n<p>The comp plan is a basic binary that pays up to 20% on volume in the lower volume (pay) leg.\u00a0 Outside of the binary there are four other ways to earn income, direct commissions, fast start bonuses, matching bonuses and bonus pools.<\/p>\n<p>All the characteristics of this compensation plan are very common, which is not a knock against the company.\u00a0 All too often it is the MLM scam that spends 90% of their sales pitch talking compensation plan and how theirs is patented worldwide and the best ever in the universe.\u00a0 This is typically something you want to stay away from.<\/p>\n<p>One thing I really like about the Gano Excel compensation plan is that it guarantees a minimum of 50% payout to the field.\u00a0 Because a binary compensation plan fluctuates on how much it pays out (oftentimes favoring the company), the 50% mark is achieved by adjusting the matching bonus payout percentage, which means some months the matching bonus could be greater than others.<\/p>\n<p>My take on this compensation plan is simple.\u00a0 It is both fair, legal and the 50% minimum payout addresses the number one concern I have about every binary plan.<\/p>\n<h3>Gano Excel, a deeper look at the company<\/h3>\n<p>Gano Excel USA has an A+ rating with the BBB () and is also a member of the DSA (), which are both very good signs that point to the stability and legitimacy of the company.<\/p>\n<p>The company was started in Malaysia back in 1995 and currently does business in more than 60 countries with a vision to achieve distribution in 100 countries by the end of 1020.\u00a0 Gano obviously has staying power and has achieved the kind of worldwide growth and distribution most MLM companies only dream of.<\/p>\n<h3>Gano Excel Competition<\/h3>\n<p>Organo Gold is the only other major network marketing company competing in the healthy coffee arena.\u00a0 By all accounts Organo Gold looks to also be a very legit company.\u00a0 They have a similar healthy coffee product utilizing Ganoderma that we may review very soon.\u00a0 The simple downside to Organo Gold is the lack of an established history and only being operational in the United States.<\/p>\n<h2>Gano Excel parting thoughts\u2026<\/h2>\n<p>I personally believe Gano Excel as an MLM opportunity is well above average.\u00a0 They have an established track record of 15 years, operate in more than 60 countries, a fair\/legal compensation plan and a product that is perfect for network marketing.<\/p>\n<p>While all these things point to a good opportunity, my recommendation is to do your own research!\u00a0 Go in with your eyes wide open.\u00a0 Don\u2019t get sucked into making an emotional snap decision based on an exciting opportunity meeting.\u00a0 Be sure you are willing to put your reputation on the line for Gano Excel and GanoCafe.\u00a0 If you do make the decision to join, give it a year\u2026 or don\u2019t give it a day!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gano Excel is one of the hotter MLM companies of late and for good reason.\u00a0 They have a simple, highly consumable and affordable product line.\u00a0 This is a rare combination\u2026 perfect for network marketing.\u00a0 Of course there is more to a company than its product;
