Attitude<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Who would think that an \u201cattitude\u201d<\/strong> would develop at such an early stage in a child\u2019s life? I would remember saying to my daughter probably as early as age three to cut the attitude<\/em>. It was the attitude that came across that just because I said something to her that she didn\u2019t like, she would mouth back thinking she could get away with it.<\/p>\n

Really, an attitude is nothing more than a mind set on how you think. You can choose to have a positive attitude or choose to have a negative attitude.<\/p>\n

Attitude What Goes in Will Come Out<\/h2>\n

What goes into your mind will come out, whether it is positive or negative. When I was growing up I had a good childhood, got to do things that a lot of girls didn\u2019t get to do. I took tap and ballet, piano lessons, was a Dairy Princess, and a child model. I did magazines and runway, and this was back in the mid- to \u2013 late sixties. Yes\u2026.I am that old.<\/p>\n

When I was ten years old my parents moved from Kentucky to Indiana. When I look back on it now, everything that I experienced probably had to do with the age. But\u2026I made friends really easy, but the \u201cfriends\u201d started to find out about me being the child model. Things seemed to change. I remember on two occasions when one time I was in the bathroom stall and these two friends came talking about me. On another occasion I had cut my hair to my shoulders from being at my waist. No one hardly recognized me. I had these same friends sit down behind me and heard them talking about me.<\/p>\n

I begin to feel I was no good. It didn\u2019t help that my dad was negative also. Man that was a lot for me to deal with.\u00a0 On top of it because I was so skinny I was always called bones. Back then they didn\u2019t have JR\u2019s size 0. So I never had clothes that fit me and I always wore baggy clothes to cover up how skinny I was. Then I was made fun of for wearing them.<\/p>\n

Attitude Just Change It<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Fast forward ten years. If it wasn\u2019t for a dear friend of mind, I really don\u2019t know if I would have ever changed my attitude. I remember going to an Amway meeting and how they were always talking positive stuff. There were tons of books on how to change your attitude. Then in the 1990\u2019s Tony Robbins came along.<\/p>\n

Now I did change my attitude, but just not 100%. This is where most people have the down fall. If everything is smooth sailing, then one wrench put into the gear, and back to the negative you go. This was what happen to me.<\/p>\n

What I believe has to happen is you just get fed up. Once you are fed up, you then make the decision to change. \u00a0When you think success, want to become better, believe big and strive to not be the average Joe all takes a mental process.<\/p>\n

I know now that I can change my circumstances by changing my attitude<\/span>.<\/p>\n
