So today was my final day at Walmart and I\u2019m making another transition to another j.o.b. (just over badass) and I realized something.<\/p>\n
Everything is going perfectly well.<\/em><\/p>\n Had a nice cup of coffee in the morning (with three blueberry muffins).<\/p>\n Feeling relaxed and at ease right now.<\/p>\n And I realized something else too\u2026<\/p>\n I\u2019m living my life on purpose.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n It\u2019s funny when I think about it at times. Prior to being in any kind of business, I\u2019ve never made goals, I\u2019ve never dreamed about much.\u00a0I was just an average guy.\u00a0<\/em>And then something clicked inside of my where I made a decision to change everything about me.<\/p>\n To change my identity.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n I think that\u2019s where the magic truly happens, because my reality is that I never really make a conscious decision to change anything about me until I decide to say\u00a0who I am<\/em>\u00a0now.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n It\u2019s kind of like this:<\/p>\n One moment I was \u201creckless<\/em>\u201c\u00a0<\/em>adolocent running around, ranting and raving about random things,\u00a0to now,<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0completely focused, goal driven and taking progressive steps to get to where I want to go.<\/p>\n I\u2019ve experienced an evolution of sorts that\u2019s hard to describe and relate to\u2026<\/p>\n \u2026Unless you\u2019ve already made a decision similar to that\u2026.<\/em><\/p>\n it reminds me of someone that has desperately tried to lose weight\u00a0over and over<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>again, searching for the secret, diet after diet, pill after pill\u2026 and yet they can\u2019t seem to find out\u00a0why<\/em>\u00a0they truly are\u00a0stuck at 280lbs (just an example).<\/p>\n By the way, if you are 280lbs there\u2019s nothing wrong with that. Some people enjoy having their temples (their bodies) a certain weight and that\u2019s totally cool with me. <\/p>\n So back to my story, ah yes, they just can\u2019t seem to lose weight no matter what they do.<\/p>\n And then one day, they wake up and this unbelievable thing happens. They say:<\/p>\n That\u2019s it. I\u2019m losing the fat period. I\u2019m going back to being lean.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n And everything changes for them. Their heart rate changes, their diet and their exercise routines begin to escalate, they start acting and speaking as if it\u2019s already happening (that\u2019s the key) and they work on it until their vision is finally realized.<\/p>\n It\u2019s the same with this as with anything else.<\/p>\n Decisions are truly powerful once we decide to make them so, and\u00a0we don\u2019t give up\u00a0<\/em>on what we want out of life. I truly believe that when we work for something and continue on that path way\u2026.\u00a0Eventually\u00a0<\/em>(yes, eventually), we will get to where we want to go.<\/p>\n For many people that can be weightloss.<\/p>\n For others it can be more love with their families.<\/p>\n And still, for some it can be more financial security.<\/p>\n Whatever the\u00a0factor\u00a0<\/em>is is that when we decide to change our\u00a0identity\u00a0<\/em>associated with that, one thing happens and that one thing is\u2026<\/p>\n A deep shift psychologically, emotionally, mentally, and physically.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n Everything changes. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n So with that being said, is there something you\u2019ve been steadily working on changing? If so, maybe it\u2019s time again to change how we\u2019re identified with said factor (health, wealth, love) and continue to\u00a0work on ourselves<\/em> until we progressively get to where we want to be.<\/p>\n And once we\u2019re there, we can modify\u00a0and improve\u00a0<\/em> to get better and better.
