Customer Service Rules<\/span><\/h2>\n

Many people believe and live by the premise of making money being the single most important thing in their business and or job. Of course, money has it\u2019s necessary function within the workplace as a necessary result, but there is a much deeper premise that we should base our business models on if we want to achieve a long lasting and solid foundation of business that is a result of high repeat business in Network Marketing, MLM, or any other business.<\/p>\n

\"Customer<\/a><\/p>\n

Here is a quick story that happened to me to illustrate my point about customer service rules<\/em><\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n

About 2 weeks ago, I was in need of a specialized technician for one of my cars and could not locate one to save my life in my area. The ones that I have been to all came up short in the quality of work and customer service area.<\/p>\n

I contacted my body shop guy to ask him if he had any connections and after a few seconds of silence, he said to bring the car over to him and he would make some calls to help. I took the car to his shop and he asked me to leave it with him so that he could make some calls. I received a call from him later that day to say that he contacted a technician that would come by and take a look at it for me that evening.<\/p>\n

Now, fast forward 7 days and I receive another call saying that the car was ready to picked up! I went over to the shop and test drove the car and it was repaired perfectly, ran great, and I was extremely surprised and pleased.<\/p>\n

My body shop guy had contacted a friend of his and had taken the responsibility upon his shoulders to see that car was repaired properly even though it was not his specialty or line of work. Why you ask?<\/p>\n

Well, he understands the most important thing in business which is customer service. By him going the extra mile for me he retains my business as a satisfied customer for many years to come.<\/p>\n

He looks at his business as a brand and everything that does has to be consistent with that brand and it\u2019s brand qualities, which in his case is exceptional service and integrity. He knows that I will keep bringing my business to him and I will keep sending referrals to him as well. He did not charge me a penny for his time or help, he just wanted to make sure that I got the car handled properly and as quick as possible. Many business owners and professionals focus too much on the \u201cmaking money\u201d end of business right up front and lose sight of the importance of the customer right up front.<\/p>\n

Customer Service Means Many Things<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Now, if we apply this to the network marketing business, it is very similar. Most people work their primary businesses and affiliate businesses with the thought of just \u201cmaking money\u201d. If we take the same approach as my body shop guy, many people would have to change their habits and ways of thinking relating to network marketing.<\/p>\n

It would start looking like, leading with value and building the business based on attraction marketing. What do I mean by leading with value? Well, if you have a blog , website, or newsletter, you would provide some free informative training or advice for new comers and solid values throughout your product line. Anytime that you use social media, ads, emails, anything that promotes your business, you give the customer something of value so that they trust you, and in return give you their business. Many times on a repeat basis, over and over again. That is what customer service<\/em> does for your business.<\/p>\n

At a certain point after doing this for awhile, your business shifts from being a push marketing business to a pull marketing business and the time that you save by not prospecting you can spend in satisfying clients to the best of your ability.<\/p>\n

So to summarize, lead by example, provide excellent value to the customer, always put them first and they will put you first, build loyalty in your customer base by going the extra mile with them, show them how much you care about them and they will be your customers for life! \u201cCustomer service rules<\/em><\/strong>\u201d is a necessary business mindset.<\/p>\n
