A lot of people have the dream of rving full time.<\/h2>\n

Heck, a lot of people have the dream of walking away from their 9-5 job, of traveling the country \u2013 or the world, of seeing all those beautiful places they\u2019ve only seen in pictures or heard others talk about, of living a life of freedom \u2013 RV or no RV.\u00a0 The biggest obstacle in the way is finding a way to live the life of your dreams.<\/p>\n

For most, the bottom line is the finances. I\u2019ve written a few articles about budgeting for the RVing full time<\/b> lifestyle that helps plan and prepare for launching.\u00a0 That is the nuts and bolts \u2013 the black and white \u2013 the logical part \u2013 and it is a vital piece in the path to finding a way to live the life of your dreams. But it isn\u2019t the only piece.<\/p>\n

The other key to finding a way to live the life of your dreams is even more vital, for it will make your dream a reality in ways all those figures on paper can\u2019t explain.\u00a0 It is your mindset<\/a> which determines the outcome \u2013 colors your world \u2013 uses your imagination \u2013 creates and designs the dream.<\/p>\n

I can already hear your response after you read the last paragraph.\u00a0 But, I DO imagine the life of rving full time<\/i>.\u00a0 I DO think about it all the time.\u00a0 I DO visualize my RV parked beside a beautiful river, in the mountains, on the beach.\u00a0 I already have the mindset!\u00a0 What gives?\u00a0 If it\u2019s as simple as thinking about it \u2013 why don\u2019t I have it?<\/p>\n

It\u2019s time for an attitude check \u2013 for your attitude towards your circumstances is the fertilizer for growing the mental garden of your dreams.<\/p>\n

James Allen writes in As a Man Thinketh:<\/em> <\/p>\n

\u201cAn individual does not have his own attitude fully under control as long as he is not happy, healthy and prosperous. These three conditions are the result of a harmonious tuning of the \u00ecnner with the outer\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

A person only really becomes a person if he stops complaining and blaming and seeks the Law of his own Being. He then begins to use circumstances to progress faster instead of fighting them. He then gradually discovers his own inner power\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

Thoughts of weakness will lead to a lack of character and this will lead to victimization. Hateful thoughts will lead to criticism and blame which, in turn, will attract enmity. Thoughts of egoism will manifest themselves as forms of self-centeredness and will cause appropriate circumstances. You cannot escape.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Again, I can hear your response:\u00a0 \u201cBut my thoughts about RVing full time<\/u> are beautiful, pleasant thoughts \u2013 not full of hate or blame or ego.\u201d<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the thing. ALL your thoughts are thrown into the mental garden, they are not sorted into piles of good thoughts and negative thoughts. And, ALL your thoughts have no power on their own accord \u2013 their power comes from you \u2013 your attitude.<\/p>\n

You say you only have good thoughts about RVing full time.\u00a0 Great!\u00a0 But, what is your attitude towards others, towards money, towards obstacles?<\/p>\n

Some people see problems everywhere; others see opportunities in every situation.\u00a0 Some people easily blame everything outside themselves for the circumstances they face; others decide they can be the change needed.\u00a0 Some people believe they must play the cards they were dealt with struggle and misery; others dig deep inside to uproot the beliefs that do not serve them.\u00a0 Some people harbor guilt or bitterness in relationships; others forgive . . . themselves as well as those that hurt them.<\/p>\n

Anyone who has tended a garden knows that it requires daily attention to pull out the weeds and provide fertile ground for the plants to grow. It\u2019s the same with your mind.\u00a0 You must regularly weed out the thoughts that hinder and destroy.<\/p>\n

Learn this and you\u2019ll discover you are finding the way to live the life of your dreams. There are many great books that will help you master your mindset:<\/p>\n
