LIVE 2012 NFL Draft<\/em>\u00a0 fever is here tonight for many football fans!!!!<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Thursday, April 26, 2012, is a date that will live for ever in the hearts of many young college football players in America as they wait to see just which team will pick them in the draft!<\/p>\n

These young athletes have worked for years to get to this live NFL draft<\/em><\/span> tonight.\u00a0 This event will shape their lives forever.\u00a0 Some of them will go on to be stars \u2014 others will not make the final cut in the Fall.<\/p>\n

Regardless their lot, it is indeed an exciting weekend for all the football community and fans.\u00a0 Much beer will be consumed \u2014 adult beverages poured \u2014 popcorn, pretzels, dip, chips, hotdogs, hamburgers \u2014 all that good bar food that goes with football!!!<\/p>\n

Many wives will have a forlorn sigh, realizing it is the football season again.\u00a0 Then there are those of us who just love it!!!<\/p>\n

I am one of those!\u00a0 Mind you, I don\u2019t know even half the players.\u00a0 But I do recognize many names, even some of those up for the draft.\u00a0 This is such an all-American sport.\u00a0 There is nothing like it in the whole world!\u00a0 Undoubtedly, many of our troops abroad will be watching the draft this weekend.\u00a0 I know they watch the games for sure when possible.<\/p>\n

Then there is little league football.\u00a0 My grandson is playing tackle football and has been for now 4 years.\u00a0 If I do say so myself, he is quite the athlete!\u00a0 It doesn\u2019t seen to matter what he is playing \u2014 baseball, basketball, or football \u2014 he is simply terrific, doggone it!!!\u00a0 Yep, I\u2019m a proud grandmother.\u00a0 All our grandchildren are \u201cthe best\u201d, but he is the only one who plays football, thank goodness!<\/p>\n

We are Seahawks fans, and in the last few years its been a struggle for them.\u00a0 Our grandson\u2019s games have been much more fun to watch than the Seahawks, I must say.\u00a0 Unlike when our son played (he was a great player, too), the kids have home and away uniforms, umps with regular uniforms (for heavens sakes) and the games are announced on a loud speaker!\u00a0 I don\u2019t remember it was that way when our son played.<\/p>\n

But all in all, we love football of any kind!\u00a0 And this weekend is a milestone \u2014 or will be \u2014 for many young college players who get drafted!<\/p>\n

The Live 2012 NFL draft<\/em>\u00a0 is an exciting time \u2014 just think, by Sunday we\u2019ll know who got whom!\u00a0 Enjoy!!!<\/span><\/h3>\n
