Did you know one of the best ways to learn something new is to fail at it, to fall down and get back up, to dust yourself off and learn from your mistakes?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Failing forward will ultimately lead to success if you never give up and stay consistent with your goals and dreams whatever they may be.<\/span><\/p>\n

Well today I want to share with you some of the major key\u2019s to failing in your business that I\u2019ve stumbled upon along the way that way you can take note of them and avoid them like the plague.<\/span><\/p>\n

Seven Keys To Failing In Your Business<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1 \u2013 Distractions<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t matter what type of situation you\u2019re currently building your business in there are going to be distractions whether there smaller one\u2019s like a friend popping around when you\u2019re trying to finish that blog post<\/a> or larger ones such as your girlfriend wanting you to take the day off to do something with her, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

Distractions are not only a part of everyday life sadly enough they are also a part of your business as well that is why it\u2019s important to take the time to set out daily tasks which need to be completed before the day\u2019s through then stay focused on completing them.<\/span><\/p>\n

2 \u2013 Procrastination<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Have you ever thought of a great blog post to write or a brilliant topic to create a video on but for some odd reason you find yourself cleaning then house or sorting your desk but never actually sitting down to your computer to do<\/em> the work?<\/span><\/p>\n

Well that\u2019s procrastination and it will single handily bring your production to a grinding halt, when it comes to overcoming procrastination there\u2019s no magic pill or affirmation that you can rant to make it go away you just have to suit up, show up and get busy with your daily tasks.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s called production and if you\u2019re not doing this inside of your business then you\u2019re not moving forward, start taking action TODAY and stop leaving it for tomorrow.<\/span><\/p>\n

3 \u2013 Perfection<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

If it wasn\u2019t for trying to be perfect all the time I would have had a lot more content out over the internet but believe it or not perfectionism is a REAL problem when marketing and building your business online.<\/span><\/p>\n

My advice to you is to move fast break stuff just take action and get your content out there, if you\u2019re forever trying to perfect your videos or write the perfect blog post you\u2019re losing production and obviously that\u2019s no good for business.<\/span><\/p>\n

In all seriousness if your video, blog post, etc isn\u2019t perfect who cares as long as you\u2019re getting your content out there and your message across because I can tell you there will be people who watch your video\u2019s or read your blog posts and think you\u2019re a rock star.<\/span><\/p>\n

Why? Because they\u2019ve let distractions, procrastination, and\/or perfectionism hold them back from actually creating their content and getting it out there for the people in internet land to see.<\/span><\/p>\n

4 \u2013 Mindset<\/strong>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Being in the home based business industry is like being on an emotional roller coaster which will test the limits of your mindset and commitment.<\/span><\/p>\n

You will have everything from your friends and family telling you to get a real job right through to the moments where you wonder whether you\u2019re doing the right thing, depending on where you\u2019re at in your business you may even quit before you even start making money.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re already making some money you will have your highs and lows as you have big commission days, little commission days, and days where you make no commissions at all.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re mindset isn\u2019t strong and you don\u2019t have a clear vision of what you\u2019re trying to achieve in your business then it will be easy to let the distractions, procrastination and perfectionism stop you from taking action and moving you\u2019re business forward.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is why I HIGHLY recommend feeding your mind the right food and what I mean by that is listening to audios trainings, watching webinars, etc from leaders in this industry who already have what you\u2019re trying to achieve.<\/span><\/p>\n

Read books from leaders in the personal development<\/a> niche so you can continue to grow and expand your mind instead of just letting all of the useless influences control your thoughts such as TV, that doubter that lives in your header, or the dream stealers around you, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re not constantly feeding your brain with information that is in alignment with your goals and dreams then it\u2019s way too easy to get distracted and lose sight of what you\u2019re trying to achieve, this is why I highly recommend listening to at least one audio per day and reading for at least 30 minutes per day this will keep your mind on the right track.<\/span><\/p>\n

5 \u2013 Information Overload<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Information overload is like a disease that plagues this industry killing people\u2019s dreams of ever creating an internet lifestyle and with all of the information being uploaded to the internet each and every minute and hour of the day there\u2019s no wonder people get overwhelmed and quit.<\/span><\/p>\n

6 \u2013 Business Model<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Just like an axe-men would use the sharpest axe to chop down trees you need to use the right business model to get into profit as soon as possible in order to scale up your business.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are a lot of great business model out there but don\u2019t get stuck building a business that doesn\u2019t have a leveraged sales process that converts visitors into buyers, believe me this can hold you back dramatically because whether you like it or not you\u2019re in the sales industry and if you\u2019re not making sales you\u2019re not paying the bills.<\/span><\/p>\n

Preferably you want a leveraged<\/span> business model that will allow you to make large commissions while you\u2019re hanging out at the beach or fast asleep as opposed to being on the phone all day trying to close sales, you want leverage of a high converting sales process and the potential to make big commissions.<\/span><\/p>\n

7 \u2013 Daily Action Plan<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Most people flounder around with no real daily action plan to follow to build their business so they find themselves spinning their wheels and never turning a profit, this is why it\u2019s so important to create a daily action plan for building your business.<\/span><\/p>\n

Firstly you need to understand what\u2019s needed in order to get paid with the business model you\u2019re using.<\/span><\/p>\n

For Example:<\/strong> If you have a high converting sales process where all you need to do in order to start making commissions is to drive traffic to your lead capture page and get people in front of your sales video then you\u2019re daily action plan should be focused on driving targeted traffic.<\/span><\/p>\n

So you would have to decide what marketing strategy you\u2019re going to focus on for building your business then create a daily action plan.<\/span><\/p>\n
