Hello everyone!\u00a0 I want to start off by saying sorry, that I haven\u2019t wrote in a couple days, my wife and I are\u00a0renovating a couple rooms in our house, so needless to say it\u2019s been hard to\u00a0get to my day job.\u00a0 But, then again that\u2019s the beauty of working from home and being my own boss\u2026I work when I want to.<\/p>\n
So our extra bedroom has been kind of like a catch all for all our\u00a0stuff that has yet to find a place in our home.\u00a0\u00a0In the words of my wife \u201cThey are gonna find a home or get out!\u201d\u00a0 Literally everything that was in that room is scattered all around the house waiting to find it\u2019s final resting place.\u00a0 We started off by painting the room a dark grey, my wife likes darker colors and has tried to convince me since we bought the house to let her pick a color.\u00a0 So, I let her have this room.\u00a0 The next step is lighting, well for some reason the builders hooked the light switch to an outlet instead a light in the ceiling.\u00a0 I thought they only did that in apartments!\u00a0 Now onto the furniture, originally my wife has said she wants new bedroom furniture in our room, ie: a king size bed.\u00a0 She says, \u201cA king size bed is the secret to a happy marriage.\u201d\u00a0 So we are going to put our furniture in the extra bedroom, and get new for ours.\u00a0 Sounds a little crazy since it\u2019d be cheaper to just buy a full size set for the extra bedroom but, \u201cA happy wife=a happy life.\u201d<\/p>\n
Now onto our next project\u2026our master bathroom.\u00a0 We have been putting this off since we moved in because it\u2019s such a big job.\u00a0 We are expanding the shower to make it a walk in shower with a half glass wall, with glass tile accents.\u00a0 Then comes the demo of the awful vanity that is in there.\u00a0 Who doesn\u2019t have 2 sinks these days\u2026we don\u2019t.\u00a0\u00a0 But we will!\u00a0 I also let April pick the colors for the bathroom, she will never let me live down the fact that she is actually good at picking paint colors.\u00a0 So as you can see, we have had a lot going on the past couple days, and I promise to get back to my usual daily posts, if not more once all the renovations are behind us, and this house isn\u2019t covered in dust!<\/p>\n
