Today I want to talk to you about why it is important to set goals<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

We want to be rich and successful and have all things that come from success but whatever you want to achieve will require you to plan. Yes that\u2019s right a plan. You must create goals.\u00a0<\/em>You have to create a way to get from point a to point b. Most people spend their time dreaming but not taking action.<\/p>\n

How I achieved my goals in Korea<\/h2>\n

When I was living in Korea I used to dream about DJ\u2019ing at the largest Hip-Hop club there. I went there and I said this is where I want to work. It took me two years of dreaming to finally make it a reality. Eventually I was promoted to the prime time slot and became one of the most well paid and respected DJ\u2019s there. And remember I was a foreigner. So if I can do it you can too.<\/p>\n

So what steps did I take to get there and reach my goals? Well first of all I knew I had to learn what kind of music was going to get the crowd moving. So I went to the club every night and studied the other DJ\u2019s. I used to take notes of every single song I could figure out and add it to my play list. \u00a0I did this for months.<\/p>\n

My next was to practice my butt off. I mean I practiced all the time. I arranged it so the owner of the club gave me the earliest slot. There were hardly any customers there. But what did this do? If gave me the opportunity to get so\u00a0comfortable\u00a0with the environment that when I came to the club it felt like home. Also, my mixing became laser tight. Mixing I believe is the most fundamental aspect of being a DJ. You can scratch. You can have the\u00a0newest\u00a0songs. BUT, the most important thing is you have to be able to play music so the crowd can not tell when there is a transition in the song. You gotta keep them moving. You can add some breaks from time to time. But you got to keep that party rocking. Everything depends on you.<\/p>\n

Working at this club also taught me some fundamental aspects of DJ\u2019ing that I never learned anywhere else.<\/p>\n

For example, at this club most of the DJ\u2019s did not speak English. So guess what? They were experts in the art of\u00a0rhythm\u00a0and sounds. You don\u2019t find this. Especially in the US. Because we get caught up with words or our favorite parts. But this skill has made it so I can basically DJ anywhere in the world and have people coming up to me again an again saying they have never seen anything like this.<\/p>\n

So I set a goals<\/span>. Next I took action. And then I kept taking the necessary actions to complete. Oh another thing. I wrote it down. I learned from some mentor that you have to write down what you want to accomplish. I have no idea why this works. But when you write it down you start to do things to make that goal a reality regardless of whether you are\u00a0conscious\u00a0that you are actually doing it.<\/p>\n

What Are My New Goals<\/h3>\n

What are my new goals<\/u>? To put together a team of people through the Empower Network<\/a> who want to make more money than they know what to do with and help other people to do the same. To teach you to think positive no matter how many set backs you go through. I want to teach you that if you keep focused on your goals<\/span> that eventually you will get what you seek. I am 100% sure. Believe in yourself and remember that the power to make things happen come from within.<\/p>\n
