God<\/span><\/p>\n2. Family<\/span><\/p>\n3. Business<\/span><\/p>\nThe Balancing Act of an Entrepreneur<\/strong>\u00a0is not always so simple and set in stone.<\/h2>\nSome may get frustrated when things don\u2019t go as planned. We\u2019re taught as entrepreneurs that you should write down your goals and stick to them taking daily consistent action. So, what do you do when unexpected life events occur?<\/span><\/p>\nHere\u2019s an even better question or scenario for you\u2026..what if you were not feeling well so you put off some tasks and rested for a few days, then on top of that you got an unexpected visit from family and ended up spending time with them instead of working your home based business thus putting you several days or even a week behind?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nFamily is second on the list, so shouldn\u2019t you cherish the time you have with that person or persons spending quality time together?<\/span><\/p>\nMore Questions Regarding the Balancing Act of an Entrepreneur\u2026\u2026.<\/h3>\n
Do you get angry and resentful that you\u2019re not staying on task as an entrepreneur<\/em>? Do you beat yourself up and give up? Are you struggling with the balancing act of an entrepreneur? Is it because you\u2019re so desperate to make money right away instead of having the mindset that when you have a larger vision of being successful that it WILL happen when \u00a0you\u2019re in alignment with good vibrations and in God\u2019s timing? Isn\u2019t that what faith is all about? Great things happen when you feel great and when you BELIEVE.<\/span><\/p>\nDo You Feel Good Being an Entrepreneur?<\/h3>\n
I\u2019ve also heard a lot of people say that work doesn\u2019t feel like work when you\u2019re having FUN. You\u2019re excited and passionate about what you\u2019re doing so it\u2019s not really work. If you\u2019re feeling guilty about not staying on task then it takes away from that good feeling and it\u2019s not fun anymore. Wouldn\u2019t you agree? This is why putting God first, having the right mindset with a larger vision and faith is so important. Are you putting God first? Do you strive to have a personal relationship with Him, spending time in prayer and reading His word?<\/span><\/p>\nYes, you need to be consistent and take action as an entrepreneur, staying the course with laser focus, but at what price? The price of your health, the price of letting down family members that may not always be around.<\/span><\/p>\nOne thing we\u2019ve learned is that life can be short. You never know when someone will pass away. Can you live with the regret of not spending time with your loved ones when you had the chance because you were more concerned with staying on track with your business? More concerned about money than happiness?<\/span><\/p>\nYes, Money Does Bring Happiness!<\/h3>\n
It allows you to be able to go do fun things at fun places, gives you security that everything is taken care of financially-thus reducing stress. Money basically provides financial and time freedom so that you can live an epic life adventure but you must be able to have the\u00a0balancing act of an entrepreneur,<\/em>\u00a0not at the cost of your happiness or at the cost of important loving relationships. You don\u2019t have to choose between them, just prioritize and include them in your journey.<\/span><\/p>\nBelief in what does not yet exist is a decision. It becomes possible when you move toward it. It becomes grounded in practicality when you continually plan it, re-work those plans, tweak the implementations, and improve in every possible area you can. Fall in love with this and you found your purpose. How do you find something you\u2019ll love so much you can\u2019t help but continually improve it? \nA thought in this substance produces the thing that is imaged by the thought.<\/strong>
\nA person can form things in his thought, and, by impressing his thought upon formless substance, can<\/strong> cause the thing he thinks about to be created.<\/strong>
\nIn order to do this, a person must pass from the competitive to the creative mind. He must form a clear<\/strong> mental picture of the things he wants, and must do \u2014 with faith and purpose \u2014 all that can be done each<\/strong> day, doing each separate thing in an efficient manner.\u201d~ Wallace Wattles<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\nHow I perceive this is to say that as long as you have a clear mental picture of what you want and take action no matter how big or small with faith and purpose, you will have success. Whether it\u2019s sending some emails, calling a few leads, placing an ad on Craigslist or even writing a blog, as long as you do even one thing with faith and purpose\u2026it\u2019s still taking action and is moving you towards your goal of creating wealth. It\u2019s not how many things you can do in one day, it\u2019s about the efficiency and mindset in which you do it that will create results or bring about failure.<\/span><\/p>\nAre You Failing as an Entrepreneur?<\/h3>\n
What do I mean by failure? Well, if you \u00a0become totally\u00a0lackadaisical because you\u2019re spending too much time watching t.v., playing video games or games on facebook, getting caught up in other people\u2019s drama, surrounding yourself with negative people, partying or whatever is non productive, then you\u2019ve lost sight of the bigger picture and you will fail as an entrepreneur. \u00a0You will lose credibility with others too.<\/span><\/p>\nThere\u2019s a difference between spending time with family or having a little \u00a0time with good friends and just goofing off \u00a0for the sake of being lazy. Figuring out this balancing act of an entrepreneur is the key. It may slow down the process of getting rich to spend time with loved ones, or will it? The point is to make the one life we have MEMORABLE, so go out there and make it happen whatever way makes YOU happy and success will follow! <\/span><\/p>\n(On a sidenote; this is Felicia (Flea) writing this. Brian (B) is an extremely hard worker and excellent entrepreneur, but the thing to recognize is that although we work together which is a true blessing, we are still \u00a0individuals and we go at different paces. We push each other and hold each other accountable, while being supportive.
