Joe Weider<\/strong>, an absolute icon and face behind the body-building sport as we know it, passes away on March 23, 2013. \u00a0The man that literally started it all, and mentored one of the best bodybuilders of all time, will never be forgotten.<\/p>\n

Joe Weider<\/em> was the driving force behind bodybuilding publicity and entertainment for the world to see, and had a mission to help grow the sport to become a global one of a kind art, and carry it\u2019s own unique category.<\/p>\n

His mission, was more than a success, it\u2019s become a \u201cmaster piece\u201d of it\u2019s own. He\u2019s not just the face behind bodybuilding, he\u2019s also the brain and power behind the major bodybuilding publications that fill the stores, athletes locker rooms, and gym shelves with magazines such as:<\/p>\n
