There are many key platforms<\/strong> that are a must have for your business. \u00a0Your LinkedIn profile<\/strong><\/span> should be one of them, along with Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+ and Instagram.<\/span><\/p>\n

Today I wanted to give you a quick tour of your LinkedIn profile<\/em><\/span> and give you a general idea of certain areas that will help you achieve a higher level of success for 2015.\u00a0 Put this on your list of things to get set up for your business as your LinkedIn profile will be a powerful platform for gaining more exposure<\/strong> for you, your business, products or services.<\/span><\/p>\n

And LinkedIn isn\u2019t just for professionals.\u00a0 Online work from home<\/a>, network marketing<\/a>, direct sales and MLMers will gain an advantage to having a profile on this social site.<\/span><\/p>\n

Custom Profile Header Background<\/span><\/h2>\n

Over the past few months<\/strong> LinkedIn added the feature where you can have a customized profile header<\/strong>, which they call \u2018background\u2019.\u00a0 This is a great way to help brand you, set you apart and keep your profile unique to your visitors and audience.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As I point out in the video, your LinkedIn profile has the ability to edit your information with ease.<\/strong>\u00a0 Google and other search engines love LinkedIn<\/span> because of the content value.\u00a0 Revisiting your LinkedIn profile<\/strong> and doing some edits will be key in being found on the search engines.<\/span><\/p>\n

Use your specific keywords<\/strong> that represent your business, programs, products or services. When you set up your LinkedIn profile<\/em> properly you are going to gain an advantage over others and attract the search engines, which means more traffic to your LinkedIn profile.<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 More traffic to your LinkedIn profile means an increase in making more connections and building those relationships to paying customers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Published Posts<\/span><\/h2>\n

A few months ago LinkedIn added<\/strong> another cool feature, Published Posts<\/span>.\u00a0 This is something I\u2019m going to be doing a lot more for 2015! \u00a0The reason why is because it is so easy to add a published post\u00a0and gain additional exposure. I repurpose my blog posts that is perfect to publish on my LinkedIn profile.\u00a0 You can add images and even embed videos.<\/span><\/p>\n

Your LinkedIn profile published posts get seen by your connections in LinkedIn<\/strong>, but also the content is seen by the search engines.<\/span>\u00a0 This feature is like having another blog, giving you more opportunity to share your content, images and videos.<\/span><\/p>\n
