Are you currently working online, building a business or thinking about jumping into the work from home business<\/a> opportunity?\u00a0<\/span> Well I say go for it!<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

BUT\u2026this is also a reminder to put down the computer to enjoy living life while building that online business.<\/span><\/p>\n

Today was our travel adventure.<\/strong>\u00a0 At least that is what my husband and I are calling it!\u00a0 We decided once I began my online home business the purpose was to create ongoing income<\/strong> to building our retirement and wealth account, but to also enjoy life at the same time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The problem I found in growing my online business<\/strong> is the amount of time I spend on the computer and my smart phone!\u00a0 Lots of hours on training webinars, hangouts with my team, company webcasts, blogging<\/a>, participating in groups and building connections on the social sites.\u00a0 These are all things that are necessary to build a solid foundation for any online business.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But don\u2019t let that take away from living your life!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Taking a break and enjoying your life<\/strong> is one of the reasons for building an online business, becoming an entrepreneur to have that freedom lifestyle. \u00a0I wanted to get out of the 9 to 5 grind<\/strong> and stop being a corporate robot.\u00a0 It should be something that you remind yourself as well.\u00a0 If you got into this business to just make money, then I would revisit your purpose, the reason why you are working on becoming a successful entrepreneur.\u00a0 Because I bet it is more than just for the money.<\/span><\/p>\n

Today as we headed out to Avila Beach, California near our home it felt exciting to be getting away from the computer, the emails, the messages and hangouts and to enjoy some time watching the waves on the pier, shopping and eating fresh fish tacos while listening to some evening music.\u00a0 We had a ball!<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

It\u2019s\u00a0about having the freedom to do what you want, when you want\u2026RIGHT?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Too many people are living like robots.<\/strong>\u00a0 I should know because I was one of them!\u00a0 Getting up at the same time every morning, dreading the commute, taking kids to day care, working for a boss, taking lunch at a certain time, rushing to get back on time and to leave only to battle the traffic once again until reaching home, making dinner, plop in front of the \u2018boob tube\u2019, go to bed and start the same thing over the next day.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then when Friday night hit it was like people went crazy.<\/strong>\u00a0 Going to bars, night clubs, parties, drinking, dancing and staying up all night because you could \u2018sleep in\u2019 on Saturday morning.\u00a0 But then the weekend was either you did your laundry and other chores or you squeezed in some family time, maybe going on a picnic, visiting friends for a BBQ making sure if it was on Sunday that you didn\u2019t stay out too late because you had to be at work early Monday morning.\u00a0 Ugghh\u2026. I remember those days.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Now some people think that building an online business, working online is just like a job.\u00a0 And to some degree it can be that way.\u00a0 Unless you treat it like a real business<\/strong>, be your own boss, do the things to keep your business working for you so you have the time to get out and live your life!<\/span><\/p>\n

There is always that balance between developing and growing as an entrepreneur,<\/strong><\/span> working hard to have the income and lifestyle you dream of.\u00a0 But at the same time, let\u2019s not forget that it is the \u2018lifestyle\u2019 most of us are wanting.\u00a0 The freedom to live life our own way.\u00a0 To get up in the morning when we want, to work for ourselves, making the business decisions and earning income based on our work.<\/span><\/p>\n

Taking a break and getting away from that computer<\/strong> will also help to revitalize yourself, your brain and rejuvenate your creativity.\u00a0 It\u2019s actually a great way to stay positive, refreshed and to renew even if it is for a few hours or for a couple of days.<\/span><\/p>\n

So if you are an\u00a0upcoming entrepreneur, working hard to reach your goals and dreams<\/strong>\u2026. I hope that this is a reminder to take a minute and realize why you got started building your online business in the first place.\u00a0 Then give yourself permission to put down the computer, build your business while living your life!<\/span><\/p>\n
