More than 12 million Americans are jobless and 40% of these individuals have been out of work for more than six months.<\/p>\n

Overall the U.S. economy may be improving but many Americans still cannot find a job.<\/p>\n

This trend will only continue in the foreseeable future says James Altucher, managing director of Formula Capital, an asset management firm.<\/p>\n

The author and venture capitalist tells The Daily Ticker\u2019s Aaron Task that the U.S. is\u00a0moving toward an \u201cemployee-less society.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you\u2019re just sitting still, shuffling paper, they\u2019re going to fire you,\u201d he argues. \u201cCubicles have become commodities. You\u2019re like the walking dead if you have a job.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Altucher, businesses used the 2008 financial crisis as an excuse to get rid of \u201cdead wood\u201d and the firing trend hasn\u2019t stopped.<\/p>\n

Companies no longer show loyalty to employees.<\/p>\n

They\u2019re more interested in boosting profits and revenue \u2013 which means letting go of expensive staff employees (due to health care benefits, 401k contributions) and replacing them with cheaper temp employees.<\/p>\n

Altucher says this situation is happening in every sector of the economy and he should know \u2013 he sits on the board of a publicly traded temp hiring firm.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you\u2019re stuck in a cubicle you have a target on your back\u2026the CEO is looking to cut you out,\u201d he declares. \u201cTemp staffing is sweeping the nation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Opportunities for Success exist like\u00a0never before.<\/p>\n

  10. Abundance Will Never Come From Your Job<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Of course, packing up your cubicle and leaving a steady paycheck is a lot easier said than done. Even if an employee waits to be fired to collect unemployment benefits, the weekly sum will be much less than one\u2019s current take home pay.<\/p>\n

    So Altucher offers a compromise: stay at your job but become an \u201centre-employee<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

    By this he means building connections and networking with employees in other divisions or even starting another business on the side\u2026<\/p>\n

    \u201cLook for\u00a0alternative sources of income,\u201d he advises\u2026<\/p>\n

    \n

    \u201cLearn your employer\u2019s connections and expand your services because you can\u2019t relax anymore. You have to stay ahead of the economy.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    Seclude yourself from constant negative news & draining, disempowering people.<\/p>\n

    Avoid at all cost, blamers, shamers and justifiers.<\/p>\n

    Just simply\u00a0FOCUS<\/strong>\u00a0on yourself & the people being a part of the solution, and not the<\/p>\n

    problem.<\/p>\n

    Tune in to the success channel of people who\u00a0live a life of complete & total freedom; personally, professionally,\u00a0mentally, emotionally, spiritually,\u00a0physically, geographically & financially.<\/p>\n
