Tony: \u201cSo you are obviously interested in money and yet we\u2019ve got these \u201cmind viruses\u201d, not physical viruses that makes us physically sick, but mind viruses, like if I say to you \u2026<\/p>\n

.. Money doesn\u2019t grow on _____ \u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026 you already know what to say \u201cMoney doesn\u2019t grow on trees!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2026 If I say to you \u201cWe may not have a lot of money but at least we\u2019re\u201d blank \u2026.<\/p>\n

\u2026 fill in the blank with whatever you have heard. Because you know you have heard somebody say something like that.<\/p>\n

\u2026 \u201cWe may not have a lot of money but at least we\u2019re \u2026 honest\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2026 \u201cWe may not have a lot of money but at least we\u2019re \u2026 love God\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2026 \u201cWe may not have a lot of money but at least I love my family\u201d<\/p>\n

AS IF \u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026 as if you can\u2019t have money and be spiritual, or be a great church member or be a great Christian..<\/p>\n

\u2026 as if you can\u2019t have money and simultaneously love your children.<\/p>\n

We hear these \u201cmind viruses\u201d and they get ingrained in your subconscious.<\/p>\n

So tell me, what would happen\u2026<\/p>\n

.. if a man or a woman has in their mind the belief that \u201cif I make a lot of money that that would just open the door for the devil to come in and tear up my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Or as a non-religious example, \u201cif I make a lot of money a lot of wealthy people don\u2019t have time for their children.\u201d<\/p>\n

If you picture a man or a woman who has that kind of belief in their head, and yet over here on the other side, they\u2019re working night and day to try and make more money to come in, can you not see?<\/p>\n

Your belief system will not allow you to get that money!<\/p>\n

The internal workings of your mind will not allow you to get too much money because your mind is programmed for your survival. And that includes emotional survival.<\/p>\n

Our brains have evolved to let us know to flee from danger. Our minds have evolved to do whatever it takes for survival.<\/p>\n

So if being broke is who you are, like, as an identity?<\/p>\n

Because you get an emotional payoff in your life?<\/p>\n

Because you can say \u201cWell I may not have a lot of money but at least I\u2019m spiritual\u201d, or \u201cI may not have a lot of money but at least I love my family\u201d?<\/p>\n

Well, you have programmed yourself that the only way you can love your family or have a great spiritual life is if you are struggling to make ends meet. <\/strong> You can repel money away from you faster than you can ever imagine. I did it. I did it for years. This is how people destroy their lives. Every leader I know at Empower Network<\/a>, every millionaire I know, will say this\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you don\u2019t clean up the head stuff, it doesn\u2019t matter what you are doing externally, you can\u2019t get the money\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

So the invitation I have for you tonight is to get engaged in the kind of personal development<\/a> \u2013 this is what we teach at Empower Network<\/a> \u2013 we teach you how to make friends with money. It\u2019s part of what we do here.<\/p>\n

Some of you, this is a breath of fresh air. You already know that you are not hearing this anywhere else. You didn\u2019t hear it in class, in school, you are not hearing it behind the pulpit, you are not hearing it in the news, we have got to get that cleared up. And that\u2019s a part of what we are teaching here at Empower Network.<\/p>\n

Let me share this with you too, because I don\u2019t want you to have assumptions about this. This is not the kind of community that will tell you about prosperity consciousness \u2013 some companies would even teach you to buy expensive cars and get into debt so you can show it off to others. That\u2019s not what we do at Empower Network.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
