Continued from previous blog post<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

Could I have tried harder?\u00a0 Well, I am lucky I studied in a private school that really valued education and learning and assessing and taught valuable principles and instilled in me that love for learning, love for learning things that I found or find interesting.<\/p>\n

I had another course in College, it was “Statistics”… so because of what I have learned early on about myself with the excruciating “my algebra teacher hates me experience”, :-), I understood that there are people who LOVE algebra or anything Math, and they do not understand people like me who will not die for the sake of Algebra.\u00a0 LOL!<\/p>\n

We are all just<\/em> different.<\/p>\n

And we can all learn to celebrate each other’s individuality.\u00a0 It’s called “respect” sometimes.<\/p>\n

Most people who thought they knew me back in High School, did not really “know” me.\u00a0 They may have known my “name”, but they don’t know who I was as a person.\u00a0 Heck, I myself did not know who I was as a person back then!\u00a0 I just knew what I liked and what I didn’t like about people and circumstances.<\/p>\n

It was funny, when I think Facebook first came out, I had relatives who were being asked by other girls from my former schools… they ask for my contact details and such… they’d say, “Hey, can you give me Cris details, we were classmates in fourth grade” or something etc… and so my relatives would give me these people’s names, and I don’t remember them.<\/p>\n

I just thought, “Well, if I didn’t know them in fourth grade, if I didn’t speak to them or have been friends with them back then,\u00a0 why connect with them now?\u00a0 What will we talk about?\u00a0 We just went to the same school, that doesn’t mean we are “friends”, we’re not even acquaintances because I don’t even remember their names”.\u00a0 My relatives laughed at me.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Was I a weirdo?\u00a0 To some, I guess, because they can’t “label me”.\u00a0 I didn’t fit any profile, I wasn’t a typical teenage girl who liked boys or make up.\u00a0 I liked to read books and learn new things.\u00a0 I was all okay with being with people, and I was and am okay with being alone.\u00a0 I can be gregarious and friendly, and I can be just by myself and not feel lonely.<\/p>\n

Ambidextrous<\/h2>\n

There are studies about “lefties” and “righties”… people who write with their left hand uses the right side of their brain more, and people who write with their right hand uses the left side of their brain more.\u00a0 And they can over analyze and study that to death.<\/p>\n

I never bothered.\u00a0 I am ambidextrous, I can write with both my left hand and my right hand, so I guess I just plain use my brain, BOTH sides of it.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 I can write backwards, too.\u00a0 No kidding.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

And it freaks out people when they watch me write backwards.\u00a0 It came naturally to me.\u00a0 When I was in school, there were chairs for “right handed kids”… and so I was writing with my left hand, and so my “posture” while sitting down and writing, I guess irritated the teachers and the nuns.\u00a0 (I was in a catholic private school).<\/p>\n
