Justin Bieber can teach us a thing or two<\/h2>\n

Justin Bieber. Everyone knows the name. Chances are, you may even sing his songs when no one is looking.<\/p>\n

But what does Justin Bieber have to do with network marketing<\/a>?<\/p>\n

\u201cAlright Sheed, you\u2019re crossing the line with Justin Bieber\u201d<\/h2>\n

I promise I haven\u2019t gone insane. Hear me out.<\/p>\n

Does Justin Bieber support network marketing? Hell if I know. But I do know this. He knows a thing or two about dealing with critics.<\/p>\n

It seems like it\u2019s the \u201ccool thing\u201d to do to make fun of Justin Bieber. I\u2019m not really sure why (though most mockery stems from nothing anyway).<\/p>\n

Seriously. If you tell someone that you\u2019re listening to a Justin Bieber song, they\u2019d probably laugh in your face, and then you\u2019ll hear about it at every single party. Just look at the comment feed when someone\u2019s Spotify says they\u2019re listening to Justin Bieber.<\/p>\n

Yet Justin Bieber never faltered when it came to achieving his dreams. In fact, when faced with a rather unpleasant critic, his response was to \u201ckill \u2018em with kindness.\u201d<\/p>\n

That\u2019s a pretty good way to deal with critics, in my opinion. And that\u2019s exactly what network marketers, or anyone for that matter, needs to learn. How to properly deal with critics.<\/p>\n

You see, the funny thing about network marketers, is that when someone bashes their company, they get really pissed off and go all Hulk SMAAASH!!<\/p>\n

Yet is that the picture we want to give to people? That all network marketers are facing a civil war with different MLM<\/a> companies?<\/p>\n

I realize that I am overly critical of some network marketing companies, particularly the health & wellness ones, because the lay-person doesn\u2019t know anything about proper nutrition and many companies are out to take advantage of that lack of knowledge. When it comes to health, it\u2019s better safe than sorry, in my opinion. But other than that, the leadership<\/a> that network marketing teaches is optimal. Especially when it comes to dealing with critics.<\/p>\n

Train yourself to ignore haters. What they say says nothing about you, but volumes about their character.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

I\u2019ve dealt with my own share of critics. I\u2019m training myself to see critics as a wisp of air\u2013meaningless and passes through quickly. Realize that when someone speaks out to criticize, it says nothing about you, <\/em>but volumes about them<\/em>. Interesting way to look at it, isn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n

Think about it for a moment.<\/p>\n

Do you know how many people told Steve Jobs he was crazy for trying to pioneer the personal computer, reinvent the MP3 player and cell phone, and pushing an oversized iPod touch into the market? Yet he didn\u2019t give up on his dream. His products are always deemed as revolutionary. And that\u2019s because he never paid attention to his critics. He pushed forward.<\/p>\n

And look back at Justin Bieber. In his late teens, but already a household name across the United States.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s quite incredible really. He never gave up on his dream. He pushed forward, ignored his critics, and killed \u2018em with kindness.<\/p>\n

Even if you don\u2019t like Justin Bieber\u2019s songs, I hope you can appreciate how he deals with critics, and hopefully deal with critics in your own positive way.<\/p>\n
