Seminole Hard Rock Tampa changes its attendance policy<\/span><\/h2>\n

Effective May 1st 2013 the new attendance policy for the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa hotel and casino will take effect.\u00a0 According to the post on the itsallyoureview.com forum, Beginning May 1st\u2026Attendance: 1 Point for first day and 1\/2 point for every day afterward. Black out days will be 2 points per day, when it used to be 1 point for three days, period.\u00a0 This means that besides not having sick days, a flu may cost you your job if you are unlucky enough to get sick during blackout days.<\/p>\n

According to the memo this is a corporate HR change and not only a single department ,( Table Games) change as many people think.\u00a0 Many people think this is a retaliatory move from the part of management after last holidays massive call outs.<\/p>\n

To me this change of policy from Seminole Hard Rock Tampa was not a surprise but something expected from the corporate world.\u00a0 And the worse part is that this is not getting any better.\u00a0 But unfortunately \u201cIt is what it is\u201d, that what they taught us when we first got here.<\/p>\n

What are the choices I have to deal with this changes on the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa?<\/h3>\n

The good news is that, doesn\u2019t matter what happens in our lives and in our work we always will have choices.\u00a0 What are ours?\u00a0 We can cry and whine all we want about the policies of a legal corporation, or we can break FREE from the corporate world once and for all.\u00a0 If you love the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa<\/em>, is ok for you to stay there and work your ass for thirty or forty years, but in the meanwhile I am working on a Plan B<\/a>.<\/p>\n
